I have had nothing but positives to say about this store. Holly, the store manager, is super helpful and knowledgeable. She’ll take the time and go over everything with you; Explain the functions and details of any product. The saddle fitting service was exceptional. We are so pleased to get saddles that comfortably fit our horses and the education around fitting and tacking up. Plus, I love the old-fashioned feel of the store. It has the feel and style of a shop you might see 50 plus years ago but with newer and modern gear. I’ll never shop anywhere else for my horse supplies!

Great selection, knowledgeable staff, love supporting small business. Hauled my horse in for a saddle fitting and everything went well. Left with a lovely new saddle that fit perfectly. Now that I’ve sold that horse, I’ve brought the saddle back for consignment! Talk about a nice range of services!

Wonderful experience! 10/10 recommend to anyone in need of tack or saddle fitting. Found my mare to be a bit challenging to fit. Trailered my mare to KS for a saddle fitting. She is 2.5 and can be sassy. Jay was so patient and kind with her (and me:). Jay knows his stuff when it comes to saddlery and horses. Hollie and Jay were so incredibly helpful in finding us a saddle that fit in all the ways horse, myself and budget. We will definitely come back when she outgrows this saddle. Thank you!

I used to do a lot of business here. Sent a lot of clients this way. Recently, I sent a client looking for a saddle to k&s. The client was asked where she has her horse she said, "Midnight Mountain Farm." The woman behind the counter told her we "aren't real trainers." We have many world champion horses and several people who went on to become champion trainers themselves. I don't even know the woman who is talking crap about my farm. Our family has been training for over 65 years. I will never refer anyone to this store again. And I will never shop here again. What k&s has become is truly a loss to the equine community.

Edit: Oh good, now I can put a name to the crap talk. There is another farm in Roy using our name, and I won't put up with anything from either party. This isn't the first person to tell me you've been talking crap about us. It's been going on a while, and I'm over it.

First off, let me tell you that I went to this store KNOWING that it caters to horse gear and tack.

My problem was that my VERY LARGE DOG broke the hardware on his long(-ish) potty lead.
After looking at Amazon and the like, I decided that wouldn't do.
I wanted to *feel* the merchandise so to speak. Especially the hardware.

So we wandered in and told the nice lady behind the counter (forgive me, I'm terrible with names) our issue.
She took me right over to her stock of lunge lines.
I got to examine the hardware and decided on one. The pricing seemed reasonable and I rather give my $ to a local, small business than to Mr Bezos. And I even got it in my boy's colour!

Upon getting home and taking the dog outside potty, I just can't tell you how happy I am with this purchase!
I just love the heavy duty bull-nosed clip and it's ease of use. I like the weight of the webbing as well.

I think it will serve us for many a good year.

A little off the beaten path. I traveled 90 minutes because they are well worth it! All sorts of new and consignment items for all disciplines from dressage to packing. Definitely a go to for replacement pieces! Staff us warm and friendly and quite knowledgeable!
