I hiked there as a part of the loop from Black Elk Peak trailhead to Little Devils Tower. I passed by the Little Devils Tower trailhead. I was told later by my gym coach Jewel that there is Poets Table in a small area with a green picnic table where people have gone for hundreds of years and left poems or letters for others to read. Places to visit and things to read during the next visit.

Trailhead has a parking lot tight off the road. For the first 3/4 of the trail it's a nice hike through some trees with nice scenery in the distance. The last 1/4 is a scramble which prior to this hike I had no clue what scrambling was. It's basically rock climbing up a bunch of boulders until you are at the top most young children and elderly would not be able to do this safely. Views at the top worth it plus I saw a Mountain goat 🐐. 10/10 would hike again!

This is another great hike in the area. The majority of the trail is relatively easy.
At the very top, if you want to get on top of the peak you'll need to scramble over rocks, possibly using your hands often for stability.

Nice trail, it's not a hard walk up as long as you bring plenty of water and maybe some snacks. The climb isn't terribly difficult as well and many families with small kids were going up.

If you want good photos, go later in the afternoon so that the sun is behind you for better lighting on the needles. However, if you want less crowds, get there in the morning.

The Little Devil's Tower Trail was a highlight of our trip! The hike offers stunning scenery, and the final scramble to the summit is a fun challenge. The panoramic views of the Black Hills, including the Needle spires and a distant Mount Rushmore, are simply breathtaking. Highly recommend for adventurous hikers!

Very cool trail. Go early om the morning so there is less people. You do have to climb up rocks to get to the top but the view is so worth it! Just follow the blue arrows when you get to the rocks.

#9 trailhead was an absolute circus so I did the highpoint from here (#4 trail) Awesome views of the spires and relatively isolated until you meet up with #9 near the summit. Meandered a bit and clocked just over 7 miles
