Just about the worst service you could imagine. Have unfortunately had this service for 3 years and have been on auto pay the whole time. Twice in the last one and half years they have attempted to/have shutoff water without notice and charged/attempted to charge $100 reconnect fee on a $35 bill. Both instances have occurred due to either “fires” or software changes. Received a notice on a Monday that if bill was not paid on Monday water would be shut off same day. Bill was 7 days late because of their changes. Went online and paid bill, no reconnect fee applied. 2 days later received a call stating that once water bill was paid after 48hrs you were then eligible to pay reconnect fee. Organization is a racquet operating under the guise of a non profit. If you have any other choice or can afford a well please do so. This place should cease to exist. Their managers (Buddy) stated if he had it his way their reconnect fee would be $200. Not sure what purpose their board serves because they are obviously all incoherent. I legitimately have not had a worse experience with any other business in my entire life.

This company and the people running it are beyond heartless. We are on auto-pay and they conveniently changed their 3rd party auto pay to another company and we didn't get the notices. Our bill was $34.00 this month and they shut off our water and charged a $100 fee. There is a way to run a business and have integrity at the same time. Horrible. If you have an alternative water company to use I would highly recommend you go with ANY other possible water utility.

Horrible place, don’t bother paying in person, or online, virtual payment doesn’t work in there system,
Even if you pay in person with card,
Cash,
Will just be a money trap, that you have it somewhere,
From what I hear, the water is fairly priced,
But if you do any watering w/o a timer,
It’s easy for a “neighbor” to guess your metrics and make up a lot of gallons, if they see you watering for 8 hours a day everyday,
Supposedly if you have cut offs everyday

Then the bill shouldn’t be more than $170 for two tractor waters, which isn’t to bad,
-the reconnect fee,
But sadly I’m already being scammed ,
Cause there wanted $1000 now for that same type of watering.
Can’t win this company,
Or this city,
Edmond should have no part of it.

Honestly really sad, becsuse edmond does actually impact the economy of Guthrie

Rather than call you before coming to turn your water off for $27, they just send a dude to turn it off with no comprehension of customer service and then just send him right back to turn it back on, when they could have saved probably $50 in gas and salary by just calling me. They have phones and they do work.

They also don’t have bill pay.
There is no other option for water because wells are allowed in the neighborhood as is standard in most, and so you’re stuck with a monopolized government entity who couldn’t give 2 fks.
Absolute garbage public service and garbage humans who work here.

Absolutely horrible water! Will be drilling a well! Also their billing platform and policies are terrible! If you can drill a well I highly suggest it!

So they can charge $100 for a reconnect, which I've fortunately never had to do, but I have to go through a busted pipe line with no water every other week or once a month? How about an inconvenience fee from my end due to no notice? Try to do dishes? No water. Laundry? No water. Need a drink? Better go to the store. But somehow they keep raising rates every year and the service gets poorer. How many lines do they have to repair before we can go several weeks without having a no water incident?!

I'm very excited to work with these folks Tom has been excellent to take care of my needs for RV park water. the ladies in the office are exceptionally nice and I'm looking forward to working with them going forward.

Absolutely the rudest water department I have ever dealt with! They don't care about the customer, they only care about the dollar. $100.00 reconnect fee? Seems a little ridiculous...since other towns and cities are $25.00-$50.00...for that price they should have to get off their lazy behinds and reconnect it after hours. Shady business on their part! I'll be glad when we move out of Logan County
