My sister and I had zipped one time before in Southern Illinois and it was fun but Long Hollow Canopy Tour was amazing. The lines were longer, higher and faster. Our guides, Tanner and Adam were great and full of information about height, speed and just what to do. It was my brother-in-laws first time and he loved it. They take lots of great pictures so it's definitely worth it to purchase them. If you don't have proof, it didn't happen! Thank you for a great memory!!

My husband and I loved the zip lining tour. We were newbies to zip lining and Tanner and Alexis made it so fun for us. They offered encouragement and a lot of enthusiasm to help you overcome your nerves. I loved it and would definitely recommend!

For a special father daughter bonding adventure I booked this for my husband and daughter when we were going to be spending a couple nights in nearby Galena. Our daughter has sensory issues and is fearful and overwhelmed easily however Karla and Brittany did such a great job as soon as she finished she said I want to do this with a group of friends sometime. I can honestly say from when they discreetly weighed them (as they do everyone to make sure they are in the safe weight limits) to when we said goodbye it was the most positive experience for both of them. The gps took us seamlessly to the door even though it was in the middle of a very picturesque country setting. There was plenty of parking and an area to sit and wait until it is your turn to board the vehicles to go to the start of the adventure. The two girls who were their tour leaders were outstanding, Brianna & Karla were fun, funny and attentive to every detail so the adventure through the treetops was not just fun, but safe for everyone. They took all the time each person needed to ensure they all knew what they were doing and felt safe while doing it. Another person and I were not doing the ziplining but they let us join on the ride up to watch the training and the first couple runs they then came back up, picked us up and gave us a ride to a beautiful shelter area to sit and wait for our zipliners to finish.
For those doing the treetop tour it included multiple runs of different lengths and heights all along the guides were snapping photos which could be purchased at the end of the tour. Karla and Brittany were amazing at keeping them safe and entertained the whole time they were zipping along free as the breeze.
When the group was about to do the long run to finish the adventure one of the ground crew came back and picked us up so we could watch them do the last run and jump off the pole enjoying a couple seconds of safe free fall.

A M A Z I N G!!!!! Mackenzie and Tyler were our guides - So fluid with their safety routines, knowledgeable and personable. First experience ziplining for me & it was great! I highly recommend Longhollow Canopy tours, it is so worth the price of admission! Apparel is reasonably priced and the photos they take are great and reasonable to buy as well! It is clear that they love what they do! You'll love it too. Go conquer those fears!!

Great experience from beginning to end!

I booked a zip line canopy tour online for two people and mistakenly put down my name for both people. I had to call to get it corrected and they had it fixed instantly.

When we arrived for our tour we were greeted by the very friendly tour guides, and the lovable Oakley, and got checked in right away. After getting harnessed up and a brief safety talk, we were on our way.

Our guides, Shawn and Maddie, were awesome! They were very friendly, energetic and most importantly entertaining. This made the whole experience that much better. They explained everything great and we never not felt safe out on the course.

As for the zip lining, it was amazing. All of the zip lines were unique and each was better than the last.

This is a must do if you are in the Galena area. We had a blast and will definitely be back to do it again and try the challenge course next time. The price is very reasonable when you consider how much work it had to take to put this place together. Not to mention we had so much fun with our guides, that was just the cherry on top. Definitely 5 stars!

Nathan and Mackenzie were our tour guides and were exceptional! They were friendly, personable, easy to talk to and were very informative on the directions for zip lining since it was my boyfriend, Tom's, first time out for the ride. From the initial meet to the end of the trip they had us all in stitches with their lighthearted jokes. They really made this trip memorable and exciting for all. We would definitely recommend Long Hollow Canopy tours and both Nathan and Mackenzie as tour guides. We give them a five star rating!! Way to go Nathan and Mackenzie!!

Alexis and Tanner were fantastic guides!! Our group was fun, supportive, and never a dull moment. Course was perfect for a first timer, and the more experienced. Plan on coming back, if only for the jokes!!!!

The facility is great and so friendly knowledgeable staff. They run you through a dry run before you actually climb on your first platform. There are six stations you zip line to. You will walk over a covered bridge and repel down to another level. The staff will take pictures of your group all the way through. You will have the option to buy the pics. Each station will have water for you. I recommend taking a change of clothes. We were all sweaty by the end of the adventure. There is merch to buy too that was reasonably priced. Oakley was such a great companion taking you to you first station.
