We were visiting a friend at this hospital for the first time in Macomb it was a nice little Hospital looks like it's getting a lot of great updates! We pulled up along the side of it and honestly didn't even know it was there until the GPS said we were. The updates are nice outside but the front desk was closed down though so we didn't know where we were going. We decided to take the elevator up to the second floor and we were able to get directed there from the nurses station. Looking forward to seeing it once all the updates are done.
My friend had a great doctor, we were able to be in the room when she arrived and she was Very informative and very clear and specific with him. I loved that her main focus was to get him pain free so she could get him back home.

I been going here for about a year now. Previously I had been going to the doctor's in California.

I have to say my experiences has been absolutely wonderful. The availability of the all your documents, test results, clinical notes on the portal are epic.

The staff is great they explain everything very well. You understand why your there, what they are doing, and why it is needed.

Appointment times are a little long sometimes, but not very bad.

There is always parking, the waiting rooms are not overly full.

Compared to my last doctor's office this place is by far best hospital clinic I have ever been to.

Keep up the great job MDH.

My mother had a stroke 3 years ago and struggles with high blood pressure. She is on medication but once in a while, it gets so high that it is uncontrollable. Last night she went to the ER with her blood pressure over 170 systolic. She laid in a bed for 2 hours and the doctor finally came in and said he didn't want to do anything for her. He discharged her home at 1 am with a blood pressure of 170/115. She called this morning and said that apparently you need to have a stroke first and then maybe they will do something about it. Don't go to this ER if you are hoping for any kind of treatment or medical care.

The only reason I ended up here was because I was told if I didn't go I might die. I did not want to go. I'm a horrible patient.
I had a kind of bad experience in the ER. Had someone "search" for a vein until I yelled "take it out!" Among other things. I was in ER for 4-5 hours.
By the time I finally got a room I was pretty irritable. Hangry. I hadn't eaten all day. Hadn't been given my daily meds I asked for and was starving. The first nurse I encountered yelled at me for begging for food and my meds.
I was not happy.
I was brought food, which instantly transformed me.
I was told I was the most condescending person on earth by my nurse. (She ended up being a very cool person. Put in my IV like a champ) Not a good start.
So began my 72 hour stay.
Over the next 72 hours I encountered so many people I could not keep track of them.
All of them went above and beyond to care for me.
They were prompt when I hit the call button. They fed me whatever I wanted. I've never had dessert with breakfast, lunch and dinner. The kitchen people were amazing.
It never took longer than a few minutes for someone to come to my room for any reason. I laughed. I cried. I was horrible. I was funny. People treated me with respect, concern, empathy, sympathy and tolerance.
My doctor was amazing. My night nurse was my best friend for two very long nights.
I complained. I apologized for complaining.
They saved my life. So, 5 stars.
I had a very bad opinion of MDH when I first went in. By the time I got out 72 hours later I had spent time and been waited on by some of the kindest, most helpful and caring people I have ever met. I'm alive. I have follow up treatment. I will have to follow some rules I don't want to follow. My doctor looked me in the eye and said "This is curable." And asked me to repeat what she said. This is curable.
I have more tests to be done and some inconveniences that I don't want to do. But I will. Because between everyone there they all made me feel like I would get through this.
They saved my life. They listened to me for hours about my life and my worries. They shared with me their personal stories.
It wasn't perfect. I ate more than I have ever eaten in my life, lol.
So many people that I will never see again. I won't remember all their names. I will remember some. I will remember how they all cared for me.
They saved my life.
So, 5 stars.

Save your money and time all theses people want is money in there pockets sadly and that’s the sad truth about it, and the disrespect I got treated while having an anxiety attack and a panic attack in the er is wild, The RN with the dark brown short hair in the ponytail that said that I was hitting my head off the ground is bullshit because when your in the fetal position shaking and panicking and once you relax your body your head taps the ground so yeah she tried to say I was hurting myself more, clearly this women is ignorent and honestly shouldn’t be around anyone with that attitude and rudeness.

Went in on advice of the VA. I know my issue was low priority so I expected a wait, especially on a busy day.

Overall the staff was pleasant, attentive, and thorough.

I had to come here three times this month. Once for my 4 year old who might have broken her wrist (she did), once to see if it was healed ( it was!) and once for myself. This puts me in 4 different locations in this hospital. Every. Single. Location. Was staffed with the friendliest people I’ve ever experienced in a hospital environment. Wait times were never long (15 minutes TOPS. Less most of the times). The best part was the staff. When I was here with my daughter everyone came to see her. She’s a super inquisitive kid so she asked a lot of questions. No one got frustrated or annoyed, they just spoke to her like an adult and explained what everything did. When I came back for my own appointment, I was in and out (including getting labs done) in less than an hour! I do not feel it was rushed, just that my time was valuable. I will be coming back soon and know I’ll be taken care of. Thanks!!
