This park has so much to offer. Family friends gatherings in the shed, lake and water is so refreshing to swim, hike/ trails are so natural, canoeing is allowed. This is very good place. Entry fee is $2 per person or $7 for car. Park close at 9pm

Beautifully kept park with lots of hiking trails. Spent 3 hours with an energetic dog who loved every minute. Beautiful this time of year and minimal bugs in the morning (mid-May). Not a single piece of litter or any sign of humans other than the fact the trails existing. Absolutely a hidden gem.

I love taking my dog to the park in the mornings. It's so peaceful and quiet, and still beautiful, even though the leaves have been turning for awhile. I took a LOT of photos. Thought I'd share them. We walked all the way around the perimeter! There never seems to be an attendant but I see people paying admission anyway.... As do we. 😁😁

Update: I just want to mention how well kept this park is. They are constantly upgrading and maintaining this park with a smile and passion for the park. I can't believe I get to go here every day! So beautiful.
Update: And today we just saw a pair of bald eagles on the small trail to the right. TWO! Just another reason to love Metea.

This place is beautiful! The cost to enter is $2 per person. Has a few trails that are great for hiking. There is easy to understand maps that you can pick up at the nature center and the trails are very clearly marked. In the warmer months there's even a little lake/pond that's open for swimming. Make sure to pay attention to the weather, if it has rained recently the trails will be muddy!

This is a true hidden gem! Such beautiful scenery! Cedar Creek runs right through here, which makes it even more beautiful! You can't beat the price of $2 to get in. You can purchase a annual pass as well. They offer all sorts of activities and I have found some events on Facebook! There are some steps but really easy ones As well as some nice little walking bridge's, a pond you can swim in, and a very nice little playground. I wish I hadn't waited so long to visit, but glad I chose the first really nice day of the summer!

Scenic hiking spot along beautiful Cedar Creek. Well marked and groomed trails. Very easy to slightly moderate trails. Close to the quaint Leo-Cedarville towns. Recommend checking it out!

Totally worth the $2 entrance! Tons of walking trails both in and out of the woods, and lots of trails have little openings that will bring you right up onto the river. There's also a swimming pond with a cute little beach.
