Was looking to get my ski bindings adjusted as well as have some beginner skier questions answered. I stopped at two other ski stores before coming here and hard pretty poor experiences, they attempted to upsell me on everything and made me feel dumb for not knowing info on my skis. I was pretty disappointed in the ski community to say the least but then I came here and was blown away by the customer service. The dude who helped me was friendly and helped me learn more about my skis. I was so impressed by the customer service I bought a new helmet to show my appreciation. Shout out to the Service lead dude with long hair (don't know his name). I will continue to come here for all my skiing needs.

Got myself and my group fitted for a birthday trip full of first-timer snowboarders. We had an amazing time and it’s all thanks to Mountain to Sound and their staff helping all of us get fitted with gear! They were super nice and answered all of our questions making the whole process very easy. We’ll definitely be back next season!

Quite literally never been to a better outfitters shop than Mountain to Sound!! Staff are super friendly, prices are reasonable and the knowledge I’ve learned while shopping here about my favorite hobbies is out of this world. AMAZING job mountain to sound team! Danny answered when I called and was asking about my busted boots. He gave me a ton of great info and explained their different boot adjustment price points. I went in and was helped by Ethan who was also super nice and kind and helpful. He helped me with my old boots compared to some used boots which were so nice and very affordable. I went with the used boots and they comped my adjustment fees and spent a ton of time adjusting them and fitting them to my feet (including heating them up to bend the plastic!). Even when I came back with my skis the owner Greg taught me all about my boots, and offered to wax them as a goodwill gesture for my business and living in the neighborhood. Greg also has the sweetest dog! Her name is Lucy.

This is a great shop with amazing staff that are committed to the community and the neighborhood. They will fix your stuff for you and adjust it for free if you buy there. This is the type of local business we need to support, especially during these times.

They’ve got everything that you need for camping/hiking needs! I’m preemptively planning for my next long trek, and usually need to make multiple stops but here is a one-stop-shop. Excellent customer service and prices.
I’m now ready for some beautiful spring hikes!!

I normally do not take the time to write reviews, but my experience in getting skis adjusted here was horrific. I recently came into this shop to get two pairs of skis adjusted to new ski boots. Both bindings were on tracks and literally required less than five minutes of total work to turn some screws to adjust the tracks. Upon checking out, I was informed the total cost would be $90 for less than 5 min of work. As a local West Seattle resident and father of two young kids, I have been looking forward to getting my kids into skiing and was very excited about the prospects of working with this shop to outfit my kids. I cannot in good conscience advocate or recommend anybody use the shop based on their price gouging habits. Based on my experience, the hourly rate at this shop is close to $1000 per hour, which is borderline criminal.

I had the incorrect brakes for my skis when I took them in to mount (my fault) and this crew went above and beyond-found a pair that would work at a partner store and hand delivered them. Nothing quite like people who ski to know how exciting it is to have a new pair and do what they can to help you get out on them. I use this shop regularly (rentals, edge and wax, boots) and have had nothing but amazing service. Thank you!
