From the time I texted them a question on their website and the salesman Jorge texted right back to me, and the process started. He helped me get a fair deal on my electric pontoon in a short time over the phone! He was kind and very helpful. When I picked up the boat, Sue greeted us, and in minutes Jim took us for a test drive. He was great on showing us how it works and delivering it about 2hrs later! Thank you Jorge for answering my first text, now I have a beautiful new pontoon! 🙂

Bought a brand new 2023 chaparral 287 ssx last year. Chaparral corporate tells me this is normal. This is the deck of my boat. Apparently wax is used during the casting process and it will leave holes in the finish of your deck like this. You can’t clean it, it’s rough and basically exposed fiberglass. Spotty all over the deck. Some areas there’s nothing and then others it’s like this. I thought chaparral was a higher end boat, you wouldn’t think for a $200,000 dollar boat it would have flaws like among many many other things. Bolts and screws falling out. Nuts and washers loose. Don’t make the same mistake I did cause I’m probably going to end up in court over this bad decision.

Thank you but somehow corporate seems to think this is a normal boat finish yet every boater I know says it’s not so…. Corporate needs to make it right, they built a lemon and they should replace it and do the right thing. They just emailed me again today saying the same thing. And if that’s how chaparrals are built, I don’t want one. I figured this was a very high quality boat.

How about another update for the stereo system now. At the beginning of this year I had bill at munson install the Ecoxgear wireless tower speakers on my boat. From day one they’ve been a problem, hissing, disconnecting from each other and the stock stereo system. I brought the boat back several times wasting 2.5 hours each trip and who knows how much gas hauling this boat back to Munson for them to fix it. The whole summer goes by and after multiple attempts it’s still not right. So I told them take it off, I’d rather get a regular tower system installed since you guys can’t get this one to work right. Now they want to charge me 20% restocking fees because they couldn’t get the stereo to properly work. When I tell you customer service is dead and these places will screw you over and not give two shits, believe me.

Sue did an awesome job for us. We were overwhelmed by all the choices available and were further confused as we attended to boat show last spring. This place has a very poor costumer service. Once they make the sale, you are on your own
Make sure to ask for any services on paper. I bought a brand new boat and bimini top booth was damaged and is a big deal for them to have it replaced. What a joke

Extremely pleased with ALL of my dealings with Munson Marine. We bought a new 2019 Malibu 23LSV and if it was not for Adam and Matt, I am not sure I would have moved forward. At no point did I ever feel I was being sold anything. They listened and informed and in the end I felt they should deserve my business based on how they handled themselves up to that point. After the sale I have worked primarily with MaryJo in service to get the 20 and 50 hour service completed and it was handled very professionally.
Have to send a shout out to Nick who delivered the boat as well.
Would buy from them again and recommend them to anyone (even my family)

We bought our very first boat at Munson. They really took the time to educate us about what we were buying. We visited other marinas, but customer service was not as good at the other places and their boat selection was very limited.
Bill delivered the boat to us and took the time to teach us the features of the boat and make sure we felt comfortable with it. He even gave us all of his apps and contact information!
We have been very pleased so far! Looking forward to a fun summer using the boat!
