Great marina we LOVE IT! We stopped in one day to check out a used pontoon and get back into boating. Ended up meeting our brand new boat at Munson and then also giving a rental slip a try for the season. Been on the water and having fun every week since mothers day! The service dept. has taken care of all her new service needs efficiently. So convenient, clean and friendly. The restrooms and showers are awesome for having friends and family meet for a boat day!

A Nightmare Experience with Munson’s Marine – Beware!

I had an absolutely unacceptable experience with Munson’s Marine during an In-N-Out service. I entrusted them with my boat, and despite repeatedly asking them to pull the drain plug after using the boat, they failed to do so multiple times. As a result, my boat sat outside, taking on rainwater over the course of three months while I wasn’t using it. This led to the battery dying from the bilge pump running constantly, and eventually, the engine compartment filled with water.

When I went to use the boat, I was told the battery was dead, but they were supposedly charging it and would call me. However, when I arrived at the marina, that was far from the truth. Instead, I found five people inside my boat, a trail of oil and water, and evidence of them pulling apart sections of the back hatch trying to figure out what had gone wrong. They were caught red-handed, still having failed to pull the drain plug as requested.

Despite this negligence, speaking with multiple managers yielded no resolution. The attitudes were poor, the service was horrendous, and they took zero responsibility for their repeated mistakes.

I cannot recommend Munson’s Marine for any service, and I strongly advise against trusting them with your boat. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered.

We just finished our second full boating season on a Bentley pontoon that we bought from Sue at the 2023 Chicago Boat Show. We went to the boat show just to look and start thinking about a future purchase. We spent the entire day at the show and looked at several brands. We kept coming back to a Bentley model that we loved and, more importantly, loved working with Sue and the Munson team. We have specific requirements in mind as well as a set budget. She was very respectful of those things and worked with us to find exactly what we were looking for. We are so happy with her service and the boat she helped us to buy. This was our first time buying a boat and she walked us through the process and explained what was best and why. I highly recommend Sue and Munson!

I had an amazing experience with Sue Weiss, We drove from Minnesota and got in touch with Sue.

Sue showed us the boat and got us a Captain to show us our boat the next day in the water in their private dock.

We drove our boat home and been out on the water with lots of fun memories to come!
