Love this place- high quality clothing and accessories- great staff. Love coming to this place anytime I am home. Cannot recommend enough. In life you get what you pay for and when you buy something from Nelsons its going to last so its worth it. I still have 2 suits from over 15 years ago in great shape from Nelsons.

I worked at Nelson’s /Oxford shop in the 70’s, It was well run and friendly then. I just stopped in during Heritage Days and still a great Men’s store! Nice to see a family run store still in existence. The shirt fit perfectly! Thanks John!

Personal service by a very knowledgeable staff. Very very customer service oriented store. Highly recommend to anyone looking for high-quality clothing. I can't wait to visit their custom clothing shop in the future!!

Update Aug 28 2023 - Still an amazing place to shop! In a day and age where personal customer service is slowly becoming a thing of the past, it is still alive and well at Nelson's!! The quality of their clothes and products is well worth the price! Please give this local shop a chance to WOW you with there products and service. You won't be disappointed.

When I retired I didn't own a suit so I wore my Walmart cloths to Nelsons and told them I wanted some suits to attend events in and that I knew nothing about style and would they pick out some suits for me. They were very friendly and treated me like a friend and selected 3 suits for me. They were overpriced but I trusted that they were great suits. They measured me and said they would let me know when the alterations were done. I paid them.
Two weeks later I call and they still hadn't done the alterations. A week later they called and I picked them up and found that no two of them fit the same. When I wore one to an event a friend came up to me and said “who picked out that suit, it's awful.
If you know what you want and don't pay until the alterations are done they may be great, but if you don't, beware. I will never go back.
