This is a great store for clothing and gear. The owners are great people and very knowledgeable on hiking, he has been doing it for 33 years. They know where all the trails are from easy to difficult, so if your looking to do some hiking, ask him, he will point you in the right direction. They have very fair prices ( no large markups) The only negative would be they do not have a large variety of brands, the majority would be north face.

Wonderful store and even better owners! They have a large selection and very fair pricing. I have been shopping with them for about 4 years now. I recommend heading in there and chatting. You will never feel pushed to buy anything. Very laid back and super knowledgeable owners.

Wonderful store owned by wonderful people!! They carry the best outdoor brands at a great price. I live about an hour away, but will gladly drive there every time to support a local business, and end up paying less than what I would’ve paid at a large store. They also carry unique apparel, emblematic of the North Georgia mountains. We’ll be back!!

Love this place, I got a canvas hat as a gift, but it was too small. The Missus and I went back to exchange the hat, and the lady at the checkout counter even gave me some leather string for my hat. They are amazing at customer service, and I shop there as much as possible

What a great little store. We are here on vacation and stopped at REI on our way up. I wish I would have known about this place. One of the owners hiked the AT. Tons of information given. Lots of great tips. Ended up buying stuff just to support a small business... Will have to make our way through here in the future just to say hello! See you on the trail.

Great selection of boots, sandals and outwear, with local information for hikes and kayaking. Extensive knowledge of the AT, owner has personally hiked the entire trail. A bit more expensive than what you can find online, but you get personalized service and attention.

You could not find a better store if you tried! The owners, Travis and Shirley, are very knowledgeable and friendly. I've been to many different outdoor stores, and this one has the best selection of any store I've visited. They take time to show you how each product works too. I go there just to hang out sometimes. It's definitely worth checking out.
