This was my first time staying here, and I will absolutely be staying here again next time I'm in town! Rooms were spacious, beds were soft and comfortable, everything was clean, and the atmosphere was so homey. I felt so relaxed there, and breakfast every morning was delicious. I also had a good time working on puzzles in the landing sitting area!

The location was really nice too, very close to downtown Bonners and easy to find.

This review is VERY VERY late as our stay here was back in 2020.... lol. However, the family that runs this place is the best. My girlfriend and I were treated like family and we wanted for nothing. The area is GORGEOUS and so is the building. The room was cozy. Downtown Bonners Ferry is perfect for window shopping and antiqueing. My girlfriend recommends going to the Rusty Moose Tavern for amazing beer cheese soup! We miss it all and want to come back asap.

We spent New Years ever here. What a North Idaho Gem! The rooms are all very unique. The whole building has so much preserved history & character!
The staff/family is super friendly. I definitely recomend staying here!

Excellent B&B and i will highly recommend it.
It is family owned and you will see them greeting you, making your breakfast, doing repairs around and more. I love supporting businesses like these.
Kee in mind that this is an old school so it is noisy when you walk. The floors are the original from the school. When someone showers you will know.
The beds are comfortable and will be provided with plenty of pillows and blankets in case you get cold.
One thing i will recommend to the Duarte’s is to have an area where to hang out. I mean not only the foyer where the puzzle is but may be in the foyer in the last floor? Like a small couch and a small table? We picked up some dinner - to eat at our lodging place and we had nowhere to seat and eat our food.
There is outside but it was too cold to do so.
Overall, it is a nice place to stay. We enjoyed it. It was very clean!

Spacious and clean room, thoughtful hosts and delicious breakfasts. Love that it is a generational run B&B. There was a birthday gift waiting for us in our room when we arrived.|Had wonderful conversations with fellow guests who are now new friends!.|We have already recommended it to friends, and we will stay again!

Beautiful building. Easy to find. The chemistry room was large and had a huge bed, the bed was extremely comfortable. It was so large I needed a map to find my wife in it. 😀. The breakfast was delicious and hot and freshly cooked. This stay was a rare find.

My husband and I recently stayed for a couple nights. The hosts were very friendly, the view and location to town were fantastic. We spent some time in the pool which was cool and enjoyable. The beds were comfortable, but a little soft for our taste. I hope to go again sometime.

The Northside School B&B is awesome!!!! If you're staying in the Bonners Ferry area, definitely prioritize this as an option. Incredibly friendly family that runs it and they offer local suggestions to enhance your time in the area. The breakfasts they make are delicious! Plus there's a pool & hot tub on site. Wonderful location close to local eats. Couldn't really ask for more in a stay!
