I had a pair of sandals cute as can be and a nail popped up from under the heel… Otto I believe was the man who Serviced me he took one look at it went in back came out a few minutes later it was fixed and glued back together!!! Geez I felt lucky I found this place because usually you have to wait for repairs. It was my lucky day. Labor Day is around the corner and I will have to put my white sandals away.

PS he charged me what I expected.He was nice and I am happy. Shoe /purse repair places are hard to find these days. Thank you Otto!!!

Otto is a virtuoso of leather repair, I have never brought him anything that didn't come back to me in better shape than it was brand new. I don't go to the cobbler for a warm fuzzy or to have my self esteem stoked, I go for quality repairs on expensive goods. Also, this business only takes cash, Lynda I’m talking to you, it has nothing to do with your skin color.

He did not want my business, and I understand my job was small. I had a hand tooled leather dog collar with riveted emblems that needed replacing. The cost of the collar new was over $150, and not something I can just easly replace. I had the new pieces, but the padding needed to be replaced. If I had a rivet tool and the right needle for my sewing machine, I would give it a shot myself. He kept saying No No No. Umm OK. I asked if he knew of anyone who could help. No No No. YIKES we have come here with other pieces and he has done a great job, and why not a lower rating. I truly appreciate the craft and didn't want to jack it up myself. Used to live in Dundee and drove a half an hour to visit. First time leaving any review at all. Just sad and feel dismissed. Guess I'll give Amazon my $ and give it a shot myself. Ugh

Terrible. I brought in two pairs of shoes and a leather purse. Put shoes on counter, told him I wanted taps, he had no idea I had a leather hand bag. One look at me (woman of color), told me he only accepts cash. Now a days, not too many people carry a lot of cash. Apparently, he did not want my business. He should retire and allow the next generation to greet customers.

EXCELLENT CRAFTMANSHIP!!!! We are lucky to have such an artisan in our mists. Otto replaced shoe buckles with
velcro on my two favorite pairs of shoes so I can continue wearing them. He has put snaps on my purses and "feet" on the bottom of my purse so it does not sit on the floor. Fantastic work for great prices!!
