I couldn't be happier with my new ski boots! I was fortunate enough to snag a last minute cancellation after the heaters went out on my old boots. Apparently, this place can book out many weeks in advance and we were visiting from out of town. I was skeptical after Brent placed me in a low volume boot to fit my ankle and foot, as my toes felt smushed on the initial try on. Brent reassured me that I shouldn't worry about my toes and he would take care of it. Brent delivered and expanded the boot around my toes so that everything was comfortable and fit oh so perfectly well. My feet are warm and in a perfectly fitting ski boot without scrunched toes! This place was wonderful.

This place is always busy, at least the President's week that we come each year. However, what makes this place stand out is their teamwork, honesty, and their expertise and knowledge. First off, I really appreciated Ed's help in fitting my son to his boot, and more appreciative when he said that none of the boots in the store was suitable for him because he needed a higher volume boot. However, he took Brent's second opinion, and this is where expertise and knowledge came in. He determined that my son's high arches were being flattened (explaining the pain), and loss of leverage to flex the boot. He also had "tricks" to solve the shin bang that he experiences. Amazing! My son no longer has pain, and skis with more confidence. Lastly, Julie was amazing as we went back each night to make tweaks to fit and was so helpful each time. Many thanks!

Not sure why this place has so many 5 start reviews, maybe it depends on the person fitting you. Not sure of who fit me, but it wasn't Brent who usually is highly praised in reviews.

I emailed ahead and was told to expect 90-120 minutes for the fitting, so I was expecting a through process. For my visit, I just tried on 4 different pairs, and stood around in them for a little bit. At about the 40 minute mark, I was told I needed to make a decision since these were the only options they had. They seem to have a really limited selection of boots.

I wasn't satisfied with any of the boot I tried and just ended up paying $80 for the fitting process without buying a boot. I had very high hopes for this store, but I honestly don't see what value they add. I could gone to any store and tried on the same boots.

You are right, I don't fully understand the process of getting boots fitted. That is why I was trying to find a good boot fitter to explain it and work with me on finding a good boot. The person I was working with didn't communicate much and didn't mention the fit process including custom footbeds and boot modification. I didn't choose any of the boots because they didn't fit well, not due to the color. As it was left, it seemed like I would be paying around $800-900 for a pair of boots that didn't feel great.

Brent is great! He did a guided analysis of my foot size and shape, asked about my ski ability level, and was very patient with the input I provided to him. I'm sure he's heard it all, but doesn't seem at all annoyed with rookie questions. At the end of the appointment, I walked away with a new set of ski boots and orthotic inserts perfectly fitted to my foot. Tried them on a few times at home to break them in, then a subsequent visit for adjusting a couple of hot spots. First day on the slopes, everything fell into place - the boots are very snug and the extra control feels great. The boots are definitely a huge step above the rental boots I had last year. Highly recommend Park City Ski Boot and Brent for his expertise.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Tucked away in an office park sits Park City Ski Boot. Not flashy in appearance, PCSB's sole mission is to get you into boots that fit right. We had Julie as our fitter, she has been doing this for over 17 years and has traveled down under to work her magic. Presented with skinny ankles and a wide forefoot she picked out three boots and narrowed it down to on brand. She started with a scan of the feet, which measured the feet and produced pressure points for further review. After general fitting, she started to make adjustments to the boot, then fitted orthotics for both feet. In with orthotics and some more grinding to make room for a hammer toe piggy and we were done. I now have a pair of boots that are comfortable and fit right. They include one year of tune ups as the liners will break in with use. All they do is boots here, nothing else. You'll pay a little more here but you're paying for their experience and education, it is well worth it to have happy feet.

Skied on my new boots for the first time, PCSB nailed it! My feet have never been happier, they stayed warm with no hot spots or numbness the whole day skiing. For boots right, out of the box this is unheard of. Happy feet endorse PCSB!

Couldn't be happier with my new boots! The staff was very knowledgeable and took me through the boot fitting process, explaining how they first pick the right boot then adjust where needed for the perfect fit. They were reluctant at first to even sell me a pair of boots since I was not going to be in town over the next few days in case I needed any adjustments. I trusted in thier abilities and ended up with an awesome pair of boots that over the next 4 skiing days got even better. I would highly recommend the shop. Sorry for my stinky end of day skiing feet :).

I purchased boots in my home town but was not satisfied with the fitting. I watched a you tube video with Tom Gillie and Brent Amsbury and just knew that Brent was the boot fitter I NEEDED to see. The ski dialouge resonated with me and I knew right away Brent really understands performance boot fitting. He is a true professional, always verifying his measurements, really understanding what I was trying to accomplish with my foot performance and ski interaction. The next day on snow I was totally amazed with the feeling that both skis, feet and body were in sync....first time ever. If you don't get set up correctly from the feet up, your body will never be in sync skiing.
Thank you Brent, this skier really appreciates your effort, professionalism and the fantastic results I've had on snow.
