I had excellent experience with PR in LG. Staff is very friendly and helpful and I rather shop local than online. However, my last experience with Peak Running made me re-consider this strategy. Since I bought my runners there before and knew brand and shoe I asked for exactly my size/brand/shoe. Long story short, my feet were measured, I got a new pair of shoes and since I had specifically asked for my size I did not pay as much attention as I should have. I went home with a pair .5 too big for my feet. First time I wore them I realized that they are too big, went back with the receipt and tried to return them. I was told to try another lacing strategy. Needless to say lacing does not change the size of a shoe that does not fit. I am very disappointed and thinking whether it makes more sense to buy online or bigger chains.

I needed a Christmas gift for my wife who had recently took up walking for her health. Upon my sister-in-law‘s reference, we came to peak running. These people are so passionate about what they do that they would rather advise you correctly than sell you the most expensive shoe. Super helpful staff! Walked in with a rough idea of the type of shoe I wanted (size, level of cushion, heel-toe offset) and the assistant came back with two pairs that both felt great, and advised me on which was more suitable for a novice. Lovely neighborhood local business, will be coming back!

Stopped by in search of new work shoes and had an exceptional experience with Jasmine and Molly. I was fitted immediately and brought over 10 pairs to try on. They were not at all pushy or rushed, which was a breath of fresh air. I am very particular about a shoe, the material, support, cushion and practicality. I was fitted into a Hoka Bandi, and I am in love. This will be my new go-to spot. They are currently offering a healthcare discount, which was an added bonus. Thanks again for all your help!
