All the negative reviews are a shame, this Play it again is awesome! They gave me a fair amount on trade, explained to me why they couldn’t take some stuff and sold me a used bat for my son for a fair price.
The new location in Downers Grove is smaller but way more organized than the last space in Westmont and the employees are beyond helpful. Highly recommend!

Used disc golf discs are way out of hand. Beat up DX molds selling for $15?! Went in twice to see if it was a fluke, but it’s not. Naperville PIAS has way more reasonable prices. Bought a used but in great shape kastaplast rekox for $5. Maybe get someone who knows anything about disc golf to review your pricing.

Update! Seems that the “owner” who doesn’t post his actual name is about as good at taking constructive criticism as he is pricing discs. Pretty bold customer service strategy, Cotton. Let’s see if it works out for him.

Another update: store moved down Ogden. Still has the most insane prices I’ve ever seen on used discs.

This place is great. Although they didn’t have a ton of hockey stuff I’m sure the inventory fluctuates. Both staff members came around and asked if we needed any assistance/had any questions and were very nice. I would recommend this location for sure.

I brought in my used bike in great condition (just serviced with brand new chain too) to sell and this man offered me $30… after he had me wait 20 minutes to give me that offer as well. I took it up to the Schaumburg location and they gave me $80 for it…
If your looking for donations just say that but don’t advertise you buy equipment then just low ball everyone.

Edit: Everything you said there was false. You’re not friendly (can see it in all your responses), it’s a small/unorganized store, you don’t have fair prices (buying or selling). I’m simply leaving a review so people don’t waste there time here but thanks for that response buddy

My husband just came home from buying my kids bikes from here. I couldn’t believe what he paid for these bikes. One was ok but the other was faded and dirty! I am not happy that my husband didn’t just walk away and go somewhere else. He could have bought our kids NEW bikes for that price!!! Not bikes that are dull/faded color, covered in dirt with stickers hanging off. Really disappointed that I suggested this place to my husband.

Just your old school resale sport shop looking to stay alive in today’s economy. Although they just moved locations, they have a good variety of sporting goods. Be back in a few weeks to check it out when it’s in full effect. Nothing bad about this place or the guys who run it.

Went to sell 2 bikes that are in brand new condition, the guy offered me $20 a piece. He said because they were women bikes they were not worth more. I guess he values women less than men! So I told him I’d rather give them away instead of taking $20.00 a piece. He didn’t believe me. Well here is the proof below. I drove in his neighborhood and found a mother and daughter and gave them the bikes. Don’t take your stuff to Westmont Play it again sports and get ripped off. Give it away and make little girl SMILE, it’s worth all the money in the world!!!!!!

I have sold a few things back to them. Did not get what I expected, but I should consider they need to make a profit. Best part was store credit and a deep selection of frisbee golf discs. I got good quality (mid level player), new discs for what regular stores sell beginner discs for.
