I'm blown away by the knowledge of the staff and customer service. My husband and I have never hit the mountain after living in Bend for 9 years and decided to celebrate our 13 years doing something new, snowboarding. Immediately upon arrival we were welcomed by about 3 staff members. We altered definitely not in our element and Patrick did everything and anything to prepare us for what to expect. We went at a great time since it's the near end of season, so we got some sweet deals on clothing, goggles, and left with rentals. The men who fitted us for the rentals were patient despite having a full house they focused on helping us and not making us feel rushed. This was definitely a positive and personal experience for us. It's frustrating when you go somewhere and feel like a transaction. I read online it's been family owned for 30 years so I'm happy pur business stayed local🤙🏽 keep up the great work! The team at Powder House is super responsive. I had an amazing ski boot fitting that has me in ski boots that are comfortable all day long on the slopes. The expert boot fitting team is terrific. Also - they are efficient in helping with binding selection, mounting and tuning.

I recently visited Powder House Ski Shop in Bend, Oregon, and had a good experience. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable, and I appreciated their wide selection of gear. I was lucky to catch a 20-40% off sale, which was a nice bonus. I also had a ski rental that I couldn’t use, and they offered a credit. I recommend Powder House for anyone looking for ski equipment or rentals.

I had a snowboard binding that broke on what was supposed to be my last day of riding for MLK weekend before heading back home. I thought my day was completely ruined, but Christian stepped in and saved it. He kindly repaired my bindings, and double checked all the screws making sure everything was in perfect working order. Despite how busy it was, he worked with a smile the entire time and had such a genuine, positive attitude! Christian is an absolute hero and turned what could have been a disaster into an amazing day! Thanks to him, I got to enjoy one last day. If you ever need help, Powder House is the stop!

I have very complicated feet to work with for ski boot fittings and John made the process seamless, comfortable, and most importantly a lot of fun. He had my best interest at heart when fitting my boots and did everything he could to make sure I left feeling good about his work. Not only that but he found my boyfriend an amazing pair of boots (so we could match 😂) and molded them to his feet. It is clear John is an expert and knew exactly where the boot may cause some pain just by looking at our feet. 10/10 recommend and make sure you ask for John if you want an A+ and professional fitting!!

Powder House is the go to. In my experience, customer service has been exceptional from start to finish. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and have gone above and beyond to help me with my gear repairs. Pricing was very reasonable, and they got my equipment back to me quickly and in great condition. I really appreciated their attention to detail and willingness to answer all my questions. Highly recommend this shop for anyone needing ski gear repairs or new equipment. I’ll definitely be back!

I recently visited Powder House to get fitted for ski boots. The boot fitter recommended a great pair, but they didn’t have my size in stock. I ordered them and brought them back in for fitting and molding, and they did an excellent job! The team was professional and really took the time to ensure a perfect fit. Highly recommend their service! Thanks Blake for recommending the correct boots and Travis for prepping/molding them to my feet.

I came in to get some help with renting some back country xc gear for upcoming hut to hut trip and good lord, the staff was so unhelpful! No one was interested in trying to understand what my needs were and whether they had the equipment I’d be interested in. Instead I was just pushed to “go online and fill out the reservation form” immediately by every staff member I chatted with before they moved on to another task. This happened three times by three different people before some young dude saw how exasperated I was becoming and finally took the time to listen and tailor a rental package for me. Went across the street to Pine Mountain and had a completely different experience where I actually felt valued.
