This is a great store for service, follow up, and selection. The Red Wing shoes are durable, comfortable, and all weather. The staff helped me find the proper size, and fit for my job. Walked in, told them what I needed and that the boot needs to be able to work with my custom insoles. They showed me the spot, I picked a boot, got the right size, paid and walked out with new boots that are comfortable.

I purchased a pair of boots here in November 2023, when I got home and tried them on I noticed that the stitching had already come loose on a brand new pair of $300 boots. I went back to the store the very next day to explain the situation, hoping the staff would be able to replace my defective boots with a non-damaged pair. When I showed back up at the store the very next day, I was met with hostility and suspicion after explaining the situation to the sales staff. Instead of offering help or support, the staff accused me of washing the boots and then laughed in my face when I told them I had done no such thing (Why would ANYONE wash a brand new pair of boots! It makes literally no sense). I was then told that if I want any help with my new boots I would have to return to the store the next morning to speak with the manager. When I returned my third and final time to the store the manager apologized for the difficulty and asked if I wanted a replacement to which I answered yes. When he brought out the new pair of boots I examined them and discovered the stitching was coming apart in THE EXACT SAME SPOT!! The manager quickly grabbed the shoes out of my hand before I could continue examining them and went to retrieve a 3rd pair of the boots, which luckily did not have any issues with the stitching. At the end of the interaction the store manager starts to mention that I must have washed the original boots and damaged them and started complaining about how he wouldn’t be able to sell them anymore. I told him he must be pretty dense if he still thinks I washed a brand new pair of boots. He responded by laughing in my face as well and said “You can’t lie to me!! I can tell they have been washed!!”. LOL if you’re reading this review I honest to god never tried to wash or clean these boots and I certainly wouldn’t lie about it if I had. I HARDLY EVER WRITE REVIEWS SO PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS WHEN I SAY DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SHOP AT THIS LOCATION. IN FACT DON’T BUY REDWINGS AT ALL. WHITES BOOTS ARE MUCH HIGHER QUALITY AT A SIMILAR PRICE!!!

I've been here a couple of times to get my work boots and hiking boots. The shoes have really good quality and strong grip at the bottom. I wear them for hiking and I have no problem walking on icy roads. A lot of their shoes are waterproofed and some of them even have electrical hazard protection. If you are looking for work boots with safety toe or great hiking shoes I highly recommend this place.
