I wanted to say thank you to ladies that assisted me yesterday in purchasing my Oro Clara boots in size 12. I really appreciate your assistance with purchasing the correct items to maintain my boots.

I fly out on Halloween for a long European trip. I finally did it!

I have been looking at Red Wing Heritage boots since my cousin came in with his RW shoes on and talked them up. He loved his and had already had them for 5 years and wears them almost everyday, he was OTR driver at the time and they were his go to shoes not boots, I was impressed. 

Looked at the Clara and fell in love right away but, the price kept me away, 4 years of knockoffs at lower prices and I could have purchased them 2x. 

Picked them up yesterday from the Hastings store, it was a quick purchase, Size 12 Oro picked up some maintain supplies and 2 different types of laces for the break in period just in case I pulled on the original laces a bit too hard and snapped them.

This morning, I am walking around the house in them to start the break in process, I love how they look and feel so far. Beautiful on line and in person, I am breaking these in to take on my trip.

I will update later after I have broken them in some.

I had a lot of questions about the different styles, colors and sizes from all of my internet research. I found myself in good care with my afternoon weekday visit. I was offered to try both women and men’s as I liked. I had access to a fair offer on a discontinued boot, but I had my eye on a specific style this time. Several other customers came in but my salesman was very helpful to my many questions. I ended up with what I wanted in the first place, but I’m very likely to be back for another pair in short order. Kelly and Dylan were on staff when I visited.

This is a Red Wing company store situated on the west end of Hopkins along the south side of Excelsior Blvd. This is an old school American shoe store catering to the footwear needs of serious trade persons and offering a good selection of the latest Red Wing Heritage boots and shoes for men and women. Though unassuming from the outside, the store has an extensive display and healthy inventory. I have appreciated the expertise of the store manager and staff as they have to tools and knowledge to advise best fit for their products. It is easy to drop in and to know what size Iron Ranger boot is your best fit. Parking is available out front and the customer capacity policies are posted for easy reference at the entry.

Horrible location.
Guy behind the counter was extremely unprofessional.. I brought my shoes in for repair and as soon as I walk in the door you could immediately feel the negative energy in the store so it wasn't a shocker when he told me that he couldn't help with the reconditioning of my boot. The guy with the guages in his ear was of no use and I will definitely recommend to any one thats looking to get some work done on their expensive red wing books to not go to this location. You will be told that they can't do it this location because their not a corporate store..

The guy was prompt, very good customer service. Worked out quickly what I might need. He was very knowledgeable and really gave me a great fitting boot, in the style I liked. We went over soles and he recommended the right ones I do believe. It’s a first time for me getting red wing boots and it was excellent. Really like how they fit work all day standing on feet at O’Reilly Auto. Not enough I could say about the salesman. I will be coming back for more, might be the only place I stop for boots in future, due to how good everything worked and was solved for me. Also love the foot machine, really gave me some perspective.
