Red Wing boots have been standard for workers and tradesman for years. Their product is still one of the better options for manufacturers, but their quality in my personal opinion has gone down hill. I have been borderline considering going back to red wing and recently made a purchase from this store. When doing so, I learned that there has been a recent transfer of ownership. The new ownership has hired from what I can tell 2 young male adults that look like they haven’t lifted a finger, swung a hammer or woke up for a 7 am shift to work in trades or a factory a day in their life. They look and act like they live in their mom’s basement claiming to know what a work boot should feel and fit like and not to mention open for argument with a customer that is completely out of acceptable when working in retail within reason. Red Wing boots offers 30 day no questions asked, full satisfaction guarantee. One of these two kids rolled out of their mom’s basement, proceeded to tell me that if I attempt to return their boot that he will personally not accept the return. His reasoning, I purchased a size that I felt to fit my foot as I liked it to. After wearing the boot around the house for a few days, decided it wasn’t the style or fit that I was hoping for. This young man decided to pick an argument and stand his ground, while 100% going against what Red Wing boots stands for, the working class. He also chose to use profanity directed towards me and with multiple paying customers in the store as well. The conversation went back and forth for a minute or two and eventually I had asked for manager / the owners number to clarify the boot return policy that red wing offers. I was then informed that, “I am the manager”. I then replied with, can I please then have the contact information for the owner to discuss red wings return policy. He was not obliged to provide me with any form of contact information for the owner. So here I am, writing this review in hopes to pass on that this store with new ownership is being ran by two children choosing to go against red wing policy as well as act unprofessional. I highly recommended steering clear if you happen to go to this store and run into two young men. You may not know what mood they’re in and will take their problems out on the paying customer. Just to add to the story, I had a good feeling this young man was not correct on steering me away from making a purchase that I may not like, while fully taking advantage of why people buy red wing (their return policy), I had then called another red wing that was in the general area, filled them in in the concerns and issues. They reiterated that that young man was incorrect and that if they were not willing to take the boot back, that their store would gladly take the boot back if I chose to return them. I hope this story gets to a paying customer considering this store and avoid it at all cost. I also hope that the owner gets this and is able to have a conversation with his 2 employees and hopefully they’ll be honest and pass my information on so we can have a conversation over the phone or face to face. Keep these young kids out of stores selling boots made for a worker attempting to act like they know what it’s like to work a day in their life.

The boots are well made, but the store should do a better when it comes to giving out information for returns. I asked the store manager if I could return some boots that I recently purchased this month, the boots weren’t as slip resistant as I thought they would be, the store manager looked up my account on the computer in the store and assured me that “yes, just please bring the box that they came in if possible” When i drove to the store he then saw the boots and said “oh no, we can’t take those boots in because they aren’t covered under a warranty”
Bruh 🥲 like why would you tell me one thing over the phone and then change it when I get to the store… Again these boots are a great product but if a customer is mislead by the associate then in my opinion it falls on the store. Maybe the company system doesn’t show the exact boots but please don’t waste the time of the customer, ask them the right questions.Types of boots that are covered in the warranty. The manager stated over the phone that “regardless of condition you may bring the boots back, it is apart of our guaranteed fit policy with our boots”

Firm believer in you get what you pay for. To top it off I recently purchased a pair of boots that personally did not work with my feet. Great quality just wasn't for me. Brandon took care of the swap and made sure I got into a new pair. Thank you!

Need more staff. One person running the store is ridiculous. If you ask top dollar you should give top dollar service. Great product but customer service is something to be desired

Unbelievably great service from Jagger. This gentleman knows his different kinds of boots, for your kinda work YOU are doing. A must visit store if you're in need of WORK BOOTS!

Boots are great as always but the new insoles are trash. Google aetrex, must have been the company making them before red wing and them parted ways, have the forward support in ball of foot and the arch further towards the heel. Don't waste you money on the insoles in store. The boots are great though

Great place for picking up work boots and shoes Services outstanding selection is incredible and the service can't be beat if you're looking for an ultra cheap pair of boots or work shoes this is not the place remember this is Red Wing and you get what you pay for

Honestly one of the worst buying experiences I've ever had. Avoid this store at all costs. After trying a bunch of different styles I ended up special ordering a boot with different features than they had on the shelf. A day later I get a call saying my boots were ready to be picked up, great! It was the wrong boot, no worries mistakes happen, I understand and can be patient. I get a refund and decide to simply buy a boot they carry on their shelf but they don't have it in my size. So I PAY UP FRONT for them to restock their inventory and two weeks go by without a phone call. I stop in 18 days after I was charged and I'm told the boot was never ordered. Terrible experience, I've never had to work so hard to buy something only to walk away empty handed and happy just to have my money back.
