The store in Oralnd Park where a older gentleman didn't clean the access dirt off my boots before he put oil on them to be conditioning/cleaned. I'm very disappointed in the services that I received for the price I paid for the boots 👢. I was told that I could get my boots conditioning/cleaned anytime I wanted?

The professional that was working there, an older gentleman was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and caring. He quickly was able to pull up my information in the database, informed me of what options I had, and gave me amazing opinions through his knowledge on which boot would be the best option for me overall! He made this experience the best that it could be. Being a new hire at Metra is overwhelming and with how well this man simplified everything and showed that he cared about how I felt and performed on a day to day basis at work was outstanding. I will definitley be back, I will recommend people to come here and I am thrilled with my purchase and my product! Thank you so much for your help sir, you made my life a bit less stressful and more enjoyable for the 20 minutes I was at this location!

I have been shopping with red wing shoes for nearly two decades and today was my worst experience ever. I am a railroad engineer, red wing has a particular partnership with I assume most railroad companies for a certain discount on their work boots. Usually I can just walk into red wing tell them my company name and get my boots and be on my way. Unfortunately that experience ended today at the red wings store in Orland Park Illinois. First thing I noticed was the Initial delay by the employees in Assisting me in my purchases. Mind you I literally the only customer in the store at this moment and there is 2 employees working. Once someone finally decided to acknowledge my existence. I informed them that I was an employee for a railroad, and I was looking to buying a pair of boots like I have for the last two decades. I noticed that the female employee was looking at the male employee and the male employee said that they no longer could give the company Employee discount form out. And that I need to bringing in my own form. Now at face value this is not a problem, but I have been shopping here for two decades, and I have never been ask to bring in my own form. It have always been available at the store. So I inquired about how long has this new policy been in effect. The male employee pull two months out his ass and then said he hasn’t seen anyone get a form in store since July. I could tell he was full of it and I really needed a new pair of boots. So I spent the next 15 minutes calling my job to get a copy of the same form they literally already had available in front of them. At this point both employees knew I was clearly aware that I was being profiled and that this was ridiculous, and a complete waste of time. It’s truly disgusting that In 2024 we still have certain individuals who choose to perpetuate ongoing bigotry. I wish I could give -5 stars!

Wow, and wow again and again my sales man Mr. Solomon was so great. He used all the equipment available to us make sure that shoe fits correctly. Great store! Recommend!

Been wearing RedWings for 26yr in my occupation. Now retired and a senior, went to the orland store to duplicate a pair and make a new purchase (was told the shoes were discontinued and not avail) i then purchased a very expensive insole and also a leather treatment to try and preserve what i had) after buying all accessorys needed? I went home and looked on the official redwing site and was informed the shoes are still avail @ another store and on sale ! I could have purchased a "Brand New" Pair from another store with free shipping to orland and had a "Brand new pair" for less then what i spent @ the orland store so ? I still will be loyal to Red Wings but? Not in orland. When i called back the person in the orland store and explained? He said they cant make any money by selling discounted shoes !

Large selection, but expensive. Not a single wide enough pair of boots that I could purchase. Was offered EE, but that's not wide enough. Red Wings equivalent of W seems to be H, but the store didn't have any.
