Went in and bought my first pair of classic mocs today and Jason was my sales associate. He was awesome! Very helpful and knowledgeable with all the products and he helped me pick the right size, which ended up being a full size down from my normal size, I would’ve never even thought that without his guidance. Store was clean and well stocked. Just a great experience overall and Jason is top notch and great at his job! Will definitely be back!

"I recently visited the Red Wing store on Mansell Road in Alpharetta, and I have to say, I left feeling disappointed. My husband and I have purchased Red Wing boots before in New York and other places, and we've always received outstanding service, which we expect when buying boots that cost over $300. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience here.

When we walked into the store, we weren't acknowledged at first. After waiting a bit, we were finally approached by a staff member, and my husband explained he was looking for a specific type of boot. The response? The employee said they didn't carry them and seemed uninterested in helping us find something similar. My husband then asked to try on a similar style in a size 11, and another employee, a blonde woman, interjected with an attitude, questioning why he would need to go up a size. Her dismissive tone and the way she communicated made us feel like our questions were a nuisance.

To make matters worse, when my husband asked if the boots he'd found online could be returned to the store if ordered through them, the employee explained that because they were a "family-owned" store, they couldn't process returns on corporate orders. She added that if we ordered from them directly, we could return them, but if we ordered online, we'd have to deal with corporate. This left us feeling pressured and dismissed. My husband decided not to buy the boots because of the unfriendly service, and as we left, we both politely said "thank you." Neither of the employees replied, adding to the cold experience.

Overall, I'd suggest buying online if you're considering Red Wing boots. This store didn't make us feel welcome or appreciated, and customer service is essential when you're paying top dollar. We've had great experiences at other locations, like in New York, but this store's customer care was lacking. As a family-owned business, they should be fostering a warm and friendly environment--not making customers feel like an inconvenience."

We ultimately decided to buy online rather than support this location due to their poor treatment of customers. It's a shame, as Red Wing is known for quality, and we'd expect better service for such a reputable brand. I'd recommend others avoid this location and consider online shopping instead."

I’ve been a customer at Red Wing for an over a decade. I’ve been happy with their boot but recently I have not been very impressed with their boot repair service. I have been told with my last couple of boot repairs could not be repaired due over use. I have taken my most recent boots (after waiting 3 weeks for them to return) that were turned down to another boot and leather repair shop. The new store employee looked over them and said the boots can be repaired and get new souls.

I’m disappointed that a store, like Red Wing, that specializes in work boots, says that it takes pride in making and repairing a workman and workwomans boot will turn you away from an over used work boot. That tells me they just want you to spend more money. Which in my eyes is wrong.

I drove 45 minutes to this store and waited in the lobby for over 25 minutes. I could hear the guy in the back on his phone. I called out for help in the store. I literally had to call the store for him to even come out. And surprise surprise he had the biggest attitude with me. He handed me the boots they were holding for me and they were fully unlaced scratched up all over. What a trash experience.

Shelly gave me excellent service, being honest, I made her go around too many times since I wasn't sure which were the right boots for me and she always helped me in the best way and of course I took home some very good boots, very good experience. be first time

Jason did a great job helping me get a good fit for my new boots. He actually helped me realize that I was wearing a half size too large, and then got me set up with insoles that are super comfortable. Go here if you're looking for quality service!

Dan is the owner and he's been there both times I've been there. He cares about his customers and the brand.

My return trip was for some issues with the fit of my boots after a week and a half of wearing them. I went in expecting that we would both have to compromise a bit to resolve my problem. Boy, was I wrong. Dan went above my expectations to make sure I was a happy customer when I left. I was truly blown away by how well I was treated.

I cannot wait until the need for boots arises again, just so I can show Dan some loyalty by shopping his store again.

I could not be more pleased with this store, and consequently with Red Wing as a brand. Dan has earned a lifelong customer.

I have bought 2 more pairs of boots from this store, one I just received a couple days ago. Their ordering system was down for for an extended time, but the staff kept me informed every step of the way. They called me as soon as they had a tracking number. I purchased the most recent pair in the store and although Dan wasn’t there, his staff took great care to get me the boots I wanted and fit them properly. This is the only place I will shop for boots.

Had an amazing experience. Wade gave me great info and recommendations and got me into my first two pairs of red wings and I am not disappointed at all. In fact, I'm extremely happy with my purchases. This store is great and everyone is really friendly. I'll definitely be coming back. Thanks again, Wade! You killed it!
