I called the store several times and got no answer. Alex called back and left a voicemail explaining the store was very busy and he was returning my call, which I appreciated very much seeing that it's hard to find good customer service these days anymore. I placed an order for a shoe they didn't carry. He checked the other locations as well for me and they did not either.

He was honest enough to explain it may take a bit and even if I find something in the mean time I am not obligated to purchase the ones he ordered for me.

He was very helpful and pleasant to speak to. Wish everyone had this great of customer service.

I have been buying Red Wings my whole life. I absolutely love them. They have a great new machine for measuring your foot pressure and shoe size. They also offer new orthopedic shoe inserts!

Great boot. Won't take care of loyal customers
Love the boots. Unfortunately I have purchased my very last pair after 30 years. Their customer service has failed and ruined Red Wings reputation. The last 3 purchases, I've had to order, wait several weeks to 2 months to receive my order because "it's not a popular boot". The store I've purchased from in Waukegan Illinois took a $100.00 deposit, never ordered the boots because of an employee problem (this is the excuse they used last time as well) and only after contacting them along with customer service at corporate headquarters did I finally receive the boots. The customer service representative told my wife that they would return the deposit and actually give us the boots for free because of the problem we encountered and length of time. That didn't happen, for whatever reason corporate only allowed the promotional discount going on now, a $20.00 discount. Really? How about treating the customers you've had properly and standing by your word. They should be forced to remove the "Made in America" logo, any American Company who displays that should stand by their word, take care of their loyal customers and not treat them like the dirt stuck to the bottom of their product. Whoever made or why the decision to not honor what was said in my eyes is not worthy of my hard earned money. Would you continue to purchase if the same happened to you.

First timer to this store. It is really close to my workplace so it was convenient to pay a visit and see what's all about. A gray haired gentleman greeted me when I entered and helped me with everything I needed. I wanted to buy a pair of shoes I've already chosen online but as it turned out those were not produced anymore. (Why is it still listed then on the company's website?) He was more than helpful to me, he also helped me to set up an account for later purchases and in less than 10 minutes I was already leaving with a new pair of work shoes.

The employees there were really nice and eager to help. In my case they didn’t have my desired size and they immediately called their other store in Kenosha where they held a pair for me. I ended up buying a half size down from my regular shoe size. The employee at the other location was very helpful as well. Can’t wait to break in my new boots!

Great boots! They are expensive but they last!

I bought my husband a pair and they lasted so it was time for me to take him to get another pair. When we came to the store, we noticed that they did not have any soft toe boots.. they were all steel toe. My husband prefers the soft toe ones. The sales associate suggested to order them online but we passed. I hoped they would have a large variety but they don’t..
Again, nothing wrong with the boots as they’re long lasting and worth your money, it’s just this store.
