People that worked there are wonderful! Really atep up to take care of their customers. they define customer service. If placing an online order, listen for a call because the online and store may have too different ideas on what is available, and the store wins that debate. They saved me time and a headache by going that extra step.

Very unfriendly and was accused of stealing, I'm a younger man who was with 2 friends and we were looking around ace hardware because we've never entered it, knowing it was a hardware store it also sells other items. Apon entering the staff was friendly until an older woman approaches us and asks if we needed help. At first we said no and she said okay then 10 minutes later walks up to us again and asks if we need help finding anything. We told her no again and that were simply just looking around. She then proceeded to accuse us of putting items in our pants over the walkies. We left shortly after hearing this when we were about to purchase some drinks. Very distasfied.

Called ahead of time and asked about a product . Arrived ten minutes before closing after a 20 minute drive to them shutting down early . Very convenient . Won’t be retuning I’ll go to dekelb . Usually come here for fishing lures and a lot of stuff won’t be back

There’s a high end grilling and smoking retailer on the rise in Rochelle and it’s worth some attention.

Rochelle’s and beyond best selection of grilling spices and sauces you can put your hands on. It would give an “Online” merchant a run for its money. However this product you can touch, smell and take home today.

Whether it's grilling spices, rubs, pellets, coals, supplies, or basically anything else, Ace of Rochelle has you covered.

It would take you an hour to browse or more than 3 hours to thoroughly go through all the BBQ spices, sauces, and rubs. The much harder to find supplies you need to take your grilling and smoking game to the top level that are normally Online purchases are here as well. I looked in every major retailer in Rockford for butcher paper to take my brisket and Boston Butt to the next level but couldn’t find it. Here Josh carries 2 different sizes and brands.

It’s now my goto source for what used to be hard to find gear.

This is the store where backyard cooks can get premium BBQ grills, smokers, sauces, seasonings, and supplies.

This area has never had a business so committed to providing the best and broadest range of BBQ sauces, seasonings, and supplies to backyard beginners all the way up to championship competitors as what the Rochelle Ace Hardware store has brought. This store’s selection is typical of a Chicago suburb shopping experience. Now it’s right here in the Rochelle area.

This Ace Grill Station has been stocked by an enthusiast of outdoor grilling and smoking. If he had the room for outdoor kitchen showroom it would be there too. The manager (Josh) doesn’t just stock this large selection, he uses it, he is an experienced and knowledgeable BBQ cook who can not only recommend the best products for your specific needs, but he loves to share his tips and information that will improve the quality of your cooking. In my experience, he tries to build relationships with his customers, and to create something of a community where knowledge and experience can be shared, and friendships formed. When I stop in to pickup supplies and start to talk BBQ his eyes light up. Now that’s somebody you want to buy from and I believe he wants to help folks enjoy it as much as he does.

It really doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned competition pro; an ambitious contest cook eager to take it to the next level; or a backyard BBQ enthusiast looking to impress your family and friends; Josh is the man who can help you get there.

I’ve wanted to share this information for some time. Why? Because the more people who use this jewel, the longer it will be around. And Josh is the type of business man that if he doesn’t have it, it probably needs to be shared with him so he can carry it.
