Just outside of Litchfield is a real nature gem. The Rt 66 trail provides a beautiful way to hike or mountain bike through wooded areas along the West side of Lake Yaeger. There are options for different lengths. Parking is conveniently available at picnic areas and near the Marina amenities. Maps are also provided. Don't miss the nearby Rotary Bluebird trail on the East side of the lake dam.

Really fun bike trails. It's nice to have a place like this in central Illinois. Not much around like it. Nice picnic areas playgrounds and clean restrooms.

Absolutely beautiful! Trails are very well taken care of and theres maps to show you all the different ones you can take and how much experience is needed with them. Wonderful place I cant help but to keep coming back!

It was the perfect trail, shaded which was greatly appreciated and it has a swing bench over looking the woods to relax! We had a blast!!!

Couldn’t find parking go even hike the trail. Brought my daughter out there for some fresh air and ended up just hanging out at the beach to enjoy the weather.

Cool little trail system on Lake Lou. Not a ton of elevation for MTB bikes, but they did an excellent job of using what they have. Several "natural" bike obstacles that are fun for all skill levels. Double your fun and ride (or hike?) the trails in both directions! Be sure to hit the brakes for nice views and bird watching opportunities. Bike stand, tools and air pump available at the trail heads. Nice work, Litchfield!
