I don’t rate businesses often, as I know there are always issues that can happen and I try to give the business the benefit of the doubt, but I bought a pair of Maui JIm sunglasses from this store and the glasses were great while I was wearing them in the store. Later that day, after I had worn the glasses 2-3 hours while driving, the glasses left terrible indentions on my nose. So, I put them back in the box and took them back to the store (no damage).The owner said he couldn’t take them back because they had been worn. I have never had this issue with Sunglass Hut or Bass Pro. I knew that I was probably spending a little more shopping at this store, but I was attempting to shop with a local business.

In short, BE AWARE OF THE UNADVERTISED REtURN POLICY WITH THIS STORE. I dealt with the owner when I bought the glasses and this policy was never mentioned.

I personally will never shop here again! Very disappointing customer service!

Incredibly nice people with great customer service! Although they did not have my size in the sandal that I wanted, I was very impressed by the staff and selection. Will definitely be shopping here again!

I purchased a nice, expensive pair of shoes in May and by July the shoes were coming apart. I contacted the maker of the shoes and they basically blew me off. So with hesitation, I called Sand Dollar and without any question, was told to return the shoes and they would replace them. Traded shoes without any problem. I have never had anything less than exceptional service at Sand Dollar but the way this was handled blew me away! I have found my new place to buy all of my shoes.
