I can’t say enough good things about Sawyer and the people that work there. They set the bar for customer service. They are amazingly responsive to requests, super helpful for advice and finding solutions. If every company had customer service and support like Sawyer the world would be a better place. Because of my experiences with them I will be a customer for life. The highest of quality products, and they value the people that use their products.

Thank You,
Wade, Fruita, CO.

Sawyer Oars are far and away the best oars money can buy! I've worked as a professional whitewater guide for the past 14 years and have rowed just about every oar out there... Sawyers are hands down the best!
I just picked up a set of MXS-G oars for my personal set up... Everyone I've dealt with at Sawyer has been awesome! They're all river people, and it shows!

Had a oar delaminate. Oars had only been used 6 times, with oar rights so this was the top side edge that has a really low chance of rock damage. (keep in mind that these were my expensive new fancy oars that were babied) Sawyer would not take care of the issue, my options were send it back to them to repair (which at their rates plus shipping was the cost of a new oar) or fix it myself.

Needless to say this experience has turned me into a Customer that was excited to have finally purchased a expensive supposedly quality product that I had drooled over for years, every time I was in a shop.

Sawyer you have given me an experience that I am sure to tell everyone about.

Thank you.

I just canceled my order. That's the kind of experience I got while dealing with whomever on the phone today. Simple question, guy had no idea. Ok, so I explained a total of three times and then the guy proceded to laughed at my frustration (as well as, still not having an idea of what I was talking about). So, canceled by going to the Gold Hill store and talked with Beau(the only reason you get 2 stars is because of his helpful customer service). Highly not recommended!!!!!

I recently bought a new oar blade and had a quick follow-up question. Initially Sawyer's Customer Service department took too long getting back to me. Once they did however, the representative patiently answered my questions and even offered to discount a subsequent purchase (if needed), which I very much appreciated.

I ordered a custom paddle for my wife's birthday two years ago. Went through the process they required, sent the custom fabric to them, then NO paddle. For almost two years, Sawyer has been giving me the run around about how they "changed facilities", or are having "legal issues". They have ignored phone calls and emails. I got to the point I just ask for my fabric back. That was 6 months ago and haven't heard a word.
There are lots of paddle manufactures out there. From my experience, I would strongly discourage going with Sawyer.

Bought a pair of 6 foot Utility oars for my 10 foot Jon boat and love them. Replaced a pair of Caviness oars that were poorly made.Oars were delivered 3 days after ordering them..These oars are pieces of art and suitable for framing..Have used them and the difference is very noticeable.. Very well made..

My first ash paddles for canoe! I was looking for a beavertail paddle longer than 60", since I'd grown since my first canoe and paddle purchases. The 64" paddles were in the closeout/clearance section, and the one person I spoke with on the phone was quite helpful. Paddles were packaged and shipped well.
Having public relations experience, I can say, that if you don't like the rep you're dealing with, ask to speak with someone else. The IRS is willing to do that, too. (That's not the "International Rivers Society".)
