Had an excellent experience buying my new mower. Tanner is great to work with, very knowledgeable and thorough. Made the whole process easy. Delivery went great, Brock was friendly, did a great walkthrough and answered all my questions. Very highly recommend Sloan Equipment in Lanark.

On the worst day of the snowstorm we had here recently, I ran over a tire mat. I had the mat placed on our walkway and with all the snow, forgot it was there. Well my snowblower ate the mat. I called Sloan Implement and Dan MacMahon who left for the day came over with a pry bar to help. With his hard work after hours, he was able to dislodge the mat. And I was back in business. Thank you Dan. I really, really appreciate you helping me. Could not be more thankful.

Sloan implements was professional and courteous. They sold me a snow plow kit for my 1025R and the transaction was simple and quick. They offered install but in the end I installed myself due to the distance I traveled to get it. Great place.

I'm a customer service expert. Literally, in my professional life, I've taught ECS ("Exceptional Customer Service") for years. I've taught it, studied it, read books about it, and written about it, because it's a key aspect of retaining and obtaining customers. Many companies pay lip service to it, but few actually practice it at an "Exceptional" level (Enterprise car rental, Chik-fil-a, Meineke, Nordstrom used to but doesn't anymore).

I bought a Stihl string trimmer from Sloan late last summer. Hadn't used it much, but when I started using it a couple of days ago, I had a major problem - it would not advance the string. So, I brought it in, and explained the problem to Randy. After a death match with a piece of string stuck in the had, Randy fixed it. I drove home, and within 5 minutes, the problem came back. Jammed. Took it back to Sloane and suggested we replace the head (under warranty). This time, Caleb and Randy both helped me. Caleb replaced the head under warranty, no questions asked, and did it quickly and efficiently. I took it home and the new head seems to be working better.

It's almost as if Randy and Caleb completed my ECS training. I haven't been this impressed with a customer service performance in a LONG time. Not sure how much these guys make, but it's not enough, because very few things help develop a company's "Brand Promise" more than Exceptional Customer Service. Thank you Randy and Caleb. I hope your boss / owner sees this!

Over the years we have consistently received outstanding service from the Sloans in Mt Horeb WI. Knowledgeable & friendly staff in sales, parts and service who are always ready to answer questions and offer help when needed. We have purchased numerous John Deere & Stihl products from them and have found that they stand behind them both for repairs & for general maintenance. Most recently we had an issue with a battery-powered stihl trimmer; they did their best to repair it but when they couldn’t they replaced it with a new one. Just really impressive, old-fashioned commitment to their customers. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

I just purchased a new John Deere 4066r tractor from Sloan Implement in Lanark about a week ago. I also purchase a hydraulic snow plow, a 4-in-1 bucket, a ballast box, an 84" grooming deck and wheel weights. The General Manage Toby, again went to bat for me and gave me a dynamite deal on the whole package. These people have a great service, and parts department too.

This is the one and only place to purchase John Deere products. Stop in and see them and I know you will agree with me. If you don't live close to Lanark, they have 21 more locations to choose from.
