I’m deeply disappointed that South Island Public Service District has chosen to recognize every other federal holiday, but not Juneteenth. A holiday that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States, and honors the ongoing fight for racial justice and equality. Recognizing this holiday isn’t just a symbolic gesture. It’s a respectful acknowledgment of the history and communities we serve and work alongside.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously and reconsiders its stance in the future. By not observing this holiday it sends a troubling message about its values and its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Words about inclusion are not enough, action matters!

Some of the worst customer service I've ever had to deal with. Unprofessional, Rude and Combative. After speaking with the supervisor Cindy I can understand why her staff speaks to people like trash. Customer service should allow people to complete a sentence before cutting them off. Just a thought!

Water turned off without any warning by phone or email. Late warning by mail was sent in immediately- After loss of water, bill was paid by phone. I left the faucet turned on and water damage ensued when turned back on prior to my awareness.My fault, but a little common sense by the South Island water district could have avoided the problem. This was only incident in previous 12 years. Manager should be reprimanded for initiating situation.

I pay my water bill on time monthly online thru my bank. There was a problem with my November payment going thru. I recorded a payment for the late month and the current month on my bank service. SIPSD cut my water service 4 days before they received my check. I had no notice prior to this happening. They said they called but they had on record a wrong number which didn't function. They said they emailed me but if I didn't receive it, it probably went to spam. When I went to remedy this, I was told Pass due amounts must be paid within a month.
How was I supposed to know this? The bill with the past due amount made no mention of a timeline.
Why isn't there a date noted on the bill with the pass due charges when your water service will be turned off?

We had a water main break today at the street and the guys that responded to it were absolutely terrific. They all knew what had to be done and when to do it from start to finish I can’t say enough good things about the way they all worked together. Great Job ! Thank you

Treated horribly by office personnel. They were disrespectful, confrontational, and unprofessional. Of course when you are the only ones who supply an essential service I guess you don’t have to treat customers in a way that they would choose your service again in the future. Just very disappointing, every other experience in moving here has been a good one.
