I had an exceptional customer service experience here.
Allen fitted me for snowboard boots and bindings. He was so knowledgeable, personable, and incredibly kind. He worked with me for almost two hours to find the right fit, while also attending to many other customers. It was clear he actually was very passionate about boot fitting. I didn’t work with Owen (I think that was the other boot fitter’s name) but I watched him working with other customers and he was equally as helpful and as stoked! I came away with boots and bindings that I’m very happy with, so excited to try them out in the snow.

At Sports Basement, they always heat form your boots (snowboard and ski) to your feet before you buy them. I’d never heard of this before! So thrilled to have a custom fit. And you can go back and have them re-form them anytime they become uncomfortable.

This is a great sporting goods store, with lots of varied merchandise. We stopped by the Sports Basement today to pick up the bib for the Santa Rosa Marathon along with all the race aparrel, which included a bottle of wine! The sales associates who work here were nice to deal with as well. A highly recommended establishment!

This is by far the best experience I have had in a store when in comes to customer experience. Sam has gone above and beyond to help me get the best boot fit for my ski boots, multiple visits and multiple adjustments and now my ski boots are perfect! Both Sam and Alan are so knowledgeable when it comes to recommendations on ski and snowboard gear. Sean in the shoe department is knowledgeable and friendly. Lily also knows a lot about ski/snow boarding apparel. I have spent a lot of time (and money) in this store but have no regrets because each and every person who works there is so kind.

We went here a year ago to buy skis for me/my husband and snowboard for my son and WOW, what an exceptional experience we had working with Owen. I can't rave about him enough. He fitted us with equipment that was within our price range and we were so happy with the service. When I returned again this year to get new boots for my son (he grew almost 2 shoe sizes in a year!) Owen was there again and we were so happy to see him. He remembered us and helped us get fitted and molded. I actually look forward to going here because of the exceptional service I get from the staff here. Thank you Sports Basement for retaining such stellar people!!

brought the board in on Thursday to be set up for a trip on sat, went in on Friday to get its, paperwork fell off it so nothing was done. SAM came over right away and did the necessary repairs himself himself right then and there other teammates were helpful as well. ask for SAM the guy is great... i will be bringing all my needs to them in the future thank you SAM and team

Went to the Sports basement today for the first time. I was looking for new walking shoes wasn't exactly sure what I wanted but luckily the sales associate Martin came to my rescue. This man was amazing I don't know what he is getting paid but whatever it is it's not enough. I had a great experience and will definitely go back.
