Update: Although the shop was at fault, Anthony (shop manager) attempted to get CAST (binding manufacturer) to provide a warranty replacement. Sportsman & Ski House has NOT provided a resolution.

I brought my brand new Cast Freetour Look Pivot Bindings to get mounted.

One of the bindings was damaged by the ski tech during release testing. This clearly occurred because the boot's heel lug was not seated properly in the bindings heel lever. Instead the tech seated the bindings metal pin insert against the upper part of the binding heel lever. This is something that you notice when you do it, however no one mentioned this to me when I picked up the skis. I noticed as soon as I when to put them in my truck and walked right back in to discuss the damage.

Anthony, the shop manager is blaming this on my metal heel insert. However, only one ski has damage meaning if you are to believe is explanation, then they must have only release tested one of my skis. There is no issue with the metal insets in this area of the binding.

Don't bring your skis here, go to Sports Creel or Ski Shack.

I love Sportsman! They have a great selection of a variety of different products and gear for all seasons. The staff are also very helpful - especially the ski/winter sports staff. A special shout out Grant for all his help with my search for new ski boots. He's incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and a pleasure to work with!

Signs on clothing racks marked 20% off on past season items. Great! Until you go to purchase items. Clothing not discounted because and I quote from the manager “yes they are past season but we didn’t get our new season items in yet, so no discount”. I am appalled. We spend thousands of dollars there annually…. No more. I can shop on line instead of supporting local businesses.

Great store!!! Excellent prices!!! So many name brands. Hey Dudes, Brooks, Keens, Vans, Nike, UGGs, Altra, Hoka, Columbia, Eddie Bauer, Patagonia, Volcom, North Face, Billabong, Roxy, and many many more. Bike section, golfing, softball, baseball, camping, skiing, kayaking, and much more!!!!! Must visit this store!!!
