A place with a great atmosphere and service. Lots of vegetarian options to choose from. The food was yummy although when it was served fries didn't look amazing so I was nicely surprised with taste. The fries looked very dry however they were crunchy on the outside and really soft inside with yummy spices. Desserts were amazing. What could be better- the halloumi hanging kebab portion was quite small, our chilli oil had no chilli and the music was so loud that we had to shout to each other. Otherwise perfect.

Had a Christmas work do at the botanist. From booking to arriving was amazing customer service. The interior design was beautiful and full of festive cheer. The service was amazing very quick. Food was amazing. The staff all around were lovely. Enjoyed going there and will definitely go again!

We went here for a 21st birthday on a Saturday afternoon. The place looks amazing inside and is huge.

We were there for the food, really, so all the fancy cocktails they do were wasted on me.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. To be honest, I think the food menu is a bit limited, and some things are more expensive than expected.

I had fish and chips for £15.50 which is quite a dear considering what it is. However, apart from that, I can't fault the place. I imagine it's a trendy place for the younger crowd, hence why we had a 21st birthday meal there.

Kids get a free pudding when selecting from the children's menu. Mind you. the brownie did look very small.

Nevertheless, it's a great place for group meals and to celebrate special occasions. The younger generation seem to like it.

Definitely worth a visit.

What a lovely late afternoon lunch. Atmosphere was lovely and the food was great! The staff were all very welcoming and considering we were a very large group got our food and drinks out in a very timely manner. The restaurant was decorated lovely and made it feel very Christmassy!

The Botanist is an above average venue for your typical pub style food.
It offers a decent range of burgers and plenty of vegetarian options which should mean there's choice for everyone.
The atmosphere in here is very vibrant, helped by all the greenery which is spread out everywhere. On the night we went there was also a fantastic guitarist providing great entertainment.
The food itself was nice, although with a little effort could have been even better. The chips for instance were as greasy as I have ever experienced, over the top grease and while my cauliflower burger was good, it was also a little firm.
Still, the atmosphere made up for the small flaws, meaning we will likely eat here again in the future and try out some of the other dishes.

Do not go here! Myself and my colleagues went here last night for a Christmas meal together and from the moment we walked it to the moment we left, it was shocking. We wanted to have a 2 course meal but they said we had to pay for a 3 course meal. Some of us couldn’t make it last night, so we had to pay £10 per person (£50!!) for those who didn’t attend. I understand last minute cancellation but what if they couldn’t come due to illness or a family emergency? The food was bland, dry and no flavor. Awful customer service. We all were disappointed and will not be returning.

I attended as a Christmas party with my work team, the service was excellent the food was good, overall a great experience. Will definitely be booking again. Thankyou to all the team there that served us as we were a larger party which isn’t easy.

This was our first ever visit. Sunday Evening. Not many people about, so didn’t expect the service to be as slow as it was. My cocktail was extremely sweet, where I couldn’t finish it. The starters we had were the best part of the meal. Tasty. The mains, half of the options were unavailable, so we were pretty much stuck with both of us having the chicken kebab. The chips were incredibly greasy. Once we had eaten, we ordered our bill for it to come to nearly £80!!! 2 drinks, 2 starters which were 5 bits of calamari & some houmous. Then followed by 2 simple chicken kebabs & chips. Absolutely Outrageous pricing for what we had consumed!! Me and my partner are in agreement that we will not be returning.
