10 outta 5 stars! 🌟 The team at The Human Race was amazing, I will only ever recommend this place for running shoes from now! Their technology and analysis they do on your feet is incredible, and while their selection of shoes seems small, I now know it’s because they really know their stuff and offer only the best of the best running shoes.

My analysis was about 15 minutes, super informative and helpful, and the two gentlemen in the shop picked just three pairs for me to try on after getting all my details. It was truly a “Goldilocks” experience - the first pair was a little more cushioned and supportive, the second pair a little better of a fit to my foot, and the blessed third pair - the perfect combo of fit and support! No need to try on seventeen pairs of nonsense - this was *the* shoe I needed, and I really wouldn’t have chosen it without their guidance. Was pleased beyond belief, and such great pricing on all their gear, too!

Their commitment to detail and what shoe is best for you. Very personnel. They do several test to determine what is best for your feet. Our assistant was never pushy or assertive. We will definitely go back again. My wife and myself both bought a pair of brooks shoes and several pairs of socks. Awesome store and assistants!😃👏👏👏

Wonderful shoe experience. I am on my feet 8 hours a day. Julie took her time with me analyzing my walk and feet. Found the perfect pair of shoes and inserts to help me stand throughout the day. Just an FYI I live in Indiana and found my way to this store in Orland Park. I am so excited with my new shoes! Thank you The Human Race!!

I’m really happy I went here! I’m new to running and they really took the time to explain things to me. It was super beneficial to see the way I walk, and the exact measurements of my feet and arch. She was able to recommend me shoes based on these things and I swear I never realized I wasn’t wearing shoes that fit me. I could really feel the difference with the shoes she recommended for me. Not to mention, I brought my 1.5 year old with me and he was very chaotic to say the least. They never made me feel bad about my moody toddler running around, and even let him play with the shoe boxes. I’m so grateful they were so kind.

I will give this store 5 stars because they are a small business and I wouldn’t want to hurt their Google rating. My husband and I visited this store and had a really weird interaction with the saleswoman. She was rude, acted like we couldn’t afford the $35 fitting fee, and argued with us over what width felt best. She literally told my husband 4x that if he didn’t purchase shoes she was going to charge him $35. Each time he reiterated that he was ok with that. Maybe our tattoos threw her off but she acted like we were wasting her time and about to run out of the store with the shoes. It’s been years since we were treated so poorly and quite shocking in this day and age. We each bought a pair of shoes but I’d never, ever give them my business again and in hindsight I should have called her out and left without giving her a cent of commission.

Great experience! I went there today for the first time after getting a recommendation. I was greeted coming in and helped right away. They explained to me the process of what they do there and I was ready to find out what shoes would work best for me. The 2 gentlemen that helped me did a great job explaining everything to me and helped me pick the right shoes. I'm a hairdresser and I'm standing on my feet all day. I went with the Asics and very happy with my choice. Can't wait to try them out for work! I highly recommend this place!

We had such an awesome experience today! My husband was searching for a pair of walking shoes. Joe, Caden and Quinn were wonderful! They were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. My husband was able to purchase the perfect walking gym shoe. We will definitely be back!
