I took my items to a few repair stores closer to me, and they wouldn’t do the work saying it was too outside the box. I ended up driving the extra miles to bring them to the Leatherman and not only did he repair everything, but they all turned out perfectly!! Great workmanship, very fair prices and quick turn-around! So impressed-will definitely bring all of my leather repairs here!!!

Dropped off a leather jacket with a small tear on the sleeve. Brought it in and talked to the gentleman working. He was extremely polite and knowledgeable. He informed me of the process he would use to repair and the price. He said it would be ready in a week. To my surprise he called 2 days later saying it was ready! I went to pick it up and the the repair was excellent! Would highly recommend! And will be bringing any leather repair to him!

I brought some Clark’s boots up here. They had seen much better days, so I asked the owner if he felt he could resole them. He seemed confident. I tried to ask about different sole options. He didn’t seem keen on showing me different bottoms, I had to keep asking to look at different, nicer products. I asked that my boots not be refinished — I liked their weathered look.

Picked up the shoes. He had refinished them — they are now shiny and a completely different color. I’m sure that’s nice for someone, but I asked for it not to be done. The bottoms looked okay, so I didn’t fight it. After all, he makes you pay in advance. I’m not too picky and figured I’d get them scruffed up again soon.

I should have tried them on in store. They are completely, totally unwearable. There’s maybe less than a quarter inch of clearance in the toe box now — a human foot simply cannot fit in these shoes. The inner sole is bunched up, there is a “hill” in the bottom right before the toe box that, if I could even get my feet in the shoe, I’m certain would be painful. I’m super bummed— thought about taking them back but ultimately just don’t trust the care or craftsmanship. I try to repair my clothing rather than buy new items, so this was a huge bummer to have my Clark’s destroyed for $75.

I never leave negative reviews but since my shoes were completely destroyed, I wanted to warn others.
