I often rent the best bike I can find when travelling for extended stays. My friend with a family home in Hailey suggested Trailhead Bicycles. As a dedicated road bike guy, I had little experience with gravel bikes.

Despite Rebecca's Private Idaho (a famous gravel event I soon learned about) starting the next day and my arrival at the shop less than an hour before closing time, Kyle found the perfect bike for me (Trek Crosspoint), one of the young staff adjusted the seat height to my specs and installed the pedals I brought and voila, I was out the door.

I rode the six days in a row, sometimes twice a day. The bike was great and I rode enough gravel roads, often at the end of a paved section, to understand and appreciate that a road bike would have greatly limited my options.

As one who strongly supports and is loyal to my local bike shop, I
try to notice the little things like a shop's vibe, the friendliness (or not) of the staff and its interaction with riders of all levels.

Trailhead gets 5 stars....just wish I could give them more. Hoping to get back to Hailey for more rides and Trailhead will be my first stop.

In for a long weekend and needed a specific Trek part to keep mountain biking; The Trailhead Bicycles DELIVERED!! They were able to scramble to find the part and worked with us to get it after hours. Amazing customer service!

I purchased a new bike from Trailhead and had them service an existing bike. Both experiences were great! The staff is knowledgeable, thorough and very friendly. They took time to make sure all my questions were answered and that I was happy with the experience. It is nice to have a real bike shop in town!

Trailhead bikes is awesome! they are here to please and have a great team to do it with. Their focus on bikes is unique to our valley and I am personally stoked to have a shop that focuses on bikes.
