I have extremely flat feet with other fun foot difficulties which cause leg, knee, back etc. pain and make it very difficult to determine which shoe is best for me. I visited Cadence 2 times to try different options and make informed decisions. (Owner) Scott worked with me over an hour first visit and we chose an option; he told me before I left that if I had any! problems, to come back.
My unique feet being what they are, I did experience some difficulties and 2 weeks later, brought shoes back and Mike graciously helped me; I think we've found the solution!
It is so nice and refreshing to work with informed folks who genuinely want to help and ensure the best possible solution, and who honor their word; we will absolutely return.

Terrible service and product. Bought for my son but he didn't need it. Wrote Trail and Ski twice to return. Never heard a response. So, I decided to keep it. But, it doesn't work at all. I think it was already used and they found it didn't work either.

Update: I wrote twice to the website you listed. So' I wrote to manufacture and they sent me a free sensor. Apparently, Trail and Ski sold me a broken HydrateSpark Steel water bottle.

Great Store with superior customer service. Ordered over the phone with Trial and Ski. Mark on the phone took all kind of time with me to make sure we ordered to correct parts for a Yakima rack system... never felt rushed! Once it came in Scott went out of his way to help me feel comfortable with the installation! He actually assembly most of it hisself...he would have completed the entire job had the correct vehicle been available. I just can’t say enough good things about my experience with Trail and Ski!!!!

I went to Trail and Ski looking for a pair of Keen sandals. Based on my experiences in other stores, I thought I just needed a size I hadn't been able to find elsewhere. Billy gave me the size I asked for and helped me adjust the sandal properly. When I explained that the shoe still didn't feel right even though I thought I had the right size, he was honest and direct about his experience with that particular style and the issues with its fit. He then helped me find a better-fitting sandal and was patient with my questions. His knowledge of the products (and the pros and cons of each) was, hands-down, the most helpful thing I could have asked for. This was one of the best customer service experience I've ever had. Thank you so much!!

This store is perfect for my backpacking needs. I can always count on them to be stocked with Mountain House trail food and have all the necessary items I need for my backpacking trips. The staff are all knowledgeable regarding the items in the store and have helped me understand the pros and cons in actual field use for different items. I had a 30 minute detailed conversation about different stoves the first time I went.

I had the absolute best experience a few weeks ago finding a pair of hiking shoes. The owner took time out of his day to answer my many questions and help me find the best shoe for my needs. Wore the shoes in both North Carolina and through some snow in Montana and was not disappointed. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back!
