These guys are the best!! Always willing to help and always take the time to explain things to me..I appreciate their patience and knowledgeable advice. Brian(manager) is great. He has helped me out the last two times I’ve visited. He’s thoroughly explained things to me as a new gun owner and I appreciate his patience.

We went using Groupon archery and it's beyond my expectation. They introduced the basic how to shoot the arrow then let you shoot for an hour. One thing is that the shooting lane is not entirely for you so we had to wait for the other group to finish too to "clear" and go to get the arrows back. For the price, it's probably reasonable. It's a great place to shoot if you already know how to shoot but beginners could continue to shoot in a wrong posture because there is no one to help you.

This one is waaay better than the one in Chino. They actually help you and the wait time is fast. You wont be standing there for 45to an hour minutes waiting for your number to be called. I came here a day after going to the Chino one and got helped fast and I purchased two fire arms. Their loss.. The process was smooth and I felt like they didnt judge me as I was in there looking at firearms. Service was good, they answered all my questions. Thank you for being cool because we as customers do remember how we are treated. Keep up the good work.

I hate leaving bad reviews, so I rarely do, but this store shocked me with its poor customer service. This store is the closest to me, but I will never come back here! Most of the employees don’t even know their own policies—they are extremely unhelpful, slow, and lazy. If there are "only" 3-4 people waiting, they just walk to the back without even looking at you instead of helping customers, leaving one employee to handle the entire line. And this happens every single time I go there! They also told me I needed a certain document to buy ammo, so I drove home. When I returned 20 minutes later, another employee said that document wouldn’t work, and I needed a different one. Then another person said the first document would work. The employee with the bald head, mustache, and crutch is extremely rude and is my least favorite. He tries to avoid helping people as much as possible and constantly walks away, even when customers are waiting. If you call and he answers, he will definitely try to end the conversation as quickly as possible so he can go to the back. I mentioned to him how nice Juliana was, and he said, "We don't have anyone named Juliana here." I pointed her out because she had been very helpful and kind during my previous visit. He insisted they didn’t have a Juliana. I thought, okay, maybe I made a mistake. He must know his colleagues better. Then I walked up to “Juliana” and saw her badge said Juliana. So, what’s wrong with this guy? Is he that ignorant, or does he genuinely forget his colleagues' names? If that’s the case, it’s concerning since he works in a store that sells guns. One time I asked about archery, and they told me to come in and pay a $10 line fee. The next week, I came back, but the same guy said I couldn’t do archery because no one was at the range. I sat on a bench to watch others shoot, and then he came back and told me that if I signed the waiver and paid $10, I could shoot. It was strange because I had just been told I couldn’t, but I paid and enjoyed my time. The next week, I returned, paid, and started shooting. The same guy came up to me and told me I couldn’t shoot. I reminded him that last week he let me shoot after saying I couldn't, and he replied, "Don’t put words in my mouth, I never said that." (Gaslighting or I’m just dumb?) I could tell he was ready to argue, but I wasn’t there to do so. I just asked for a refund and left. Why would a professional change his mind like that? Don’t they have policies to avoid these misunderstandings, or does he just make decisions based on how he feels that day? That seems risky in a gun shop. Long story short, don’t come here. Even picking up ammo takes 40 minutes on a good day.

I recently purchased a stun gun and the gadget malfunctioned 7 days after I purchased. I came back into exchange it however Desmond could not accommodate and said there was nothing he could do. He took no responsibility for a faulty product. Wil not give them my buisness anymore.

My son needed to find something to take his mind off of school projects for an afternoon. I googled for something fun and different to do for teens and ended up talking to Chris in the archery department at Turner's Outdoorsman in West Covina. Chris was friendly and helpful and so we decided to drive down to the store to try. After Chris found out that we were very inexperienced, he patiently explained the sport to us and took time to show us how to get started. While there, we found out from another patron that he was a State Champion but Chris was so humble and never mentioned it once to us himself. We had a wonderful and surprisingly relaxing afternoon thanks for Chris! There might be other places or ways to buy bows and arrows, but I know if my son wants to get into this sport in the future, this is where I am going to be able to find knowledgeable person to help us with it! We are also planning on bringing friends to explore this sport.
