I have called the upson County Utilities Dept several times and since no one ever answers the phone, I've left several voice mail messages, as they request. However no one ever calls back. I consider this poor customer service. This should not be happening. They are there to serve the public but someone or more in your office is very unprofessional. This is not how you treat your customers! They are not paying our utility bills. The least they can do is give us a courtesy call back!!!!!

No one answers the phone. I am disabled trying to get assistance paying my bill on time and no one answers the phone for hours! There is no way they are that busy and this is poor customer service

I want to send out a HUGE thank you to the Thomaston Utilities Dept and the Electrical Dept. I called the Utility Dept and spoke with a sweet lady last Friday morning about a security light that wasn't working behind the house we just bought.
I told her it was so dark you couldn't see anything at night.
It wasn't long and I got a call from the Electrical Dept. Another very nice lady said they would check it out and let me know what was wrong with it. She called me back and said they are changing all of the street lights over to LEDs and would I be willing to paid to have that done if it's just a burnt out bulb and I told her sure.
That same night I had light in my backyard!!! 😊😊😊
I wish I had the names of the ladies who helped me. Y'all were awesome and so fast to get us light. I feel much more secure.
