I really like this hike. It is easy and a good “regular” spot for me and my dog.
It is often not too muddy, but this last trip a week ago was very muddy. There were also some trees down as seen in photo.

This trail can be taken either upwards or downwards. Unless you're heading to the summit, it's a continuous path, so either direction is fine. The trail itself is relatively easy, but it's often wet and slippery. Be cautious as falling can lead to injuries. From the midpoint that connects the upper and lower parts of the trail, it's 6 miles to the summit. However, even without reaching the summit, a 1-hour hike on this trail is still enjoyable.

Did the upper to lower trail loop. Started with the upper where you get some great panoramic views of the valley. Lower was very muddy and a bit more challenging than the upper, but being next to the flowing water was nice. Overall it was a great hike (8 year old and two 10 year olds did just fine). Definitely recommend good hiking shoes, especially for the lower.

Beautiful hike. I arrived at 6:30 am and I was the only person on the trail. Fairly easy, with two really cool, optional tunnels to go through. It took about an hour and twenty minutes to complete.

Great trail tucked away besides a hunting grounds with a security gate. Parking is on the street. Started at 730 right after the sun came up and finished at 0900. Went on the upper trail first which led to the lower trail and completed a full loop. Or you can start on the lower trail and finish with the upper! Only one or few people on the trail when I started. Saw multiple toddlers on the trail, so I’d say it’s kid friendly!

It's a great, easy hike. There is one challenging uphill section, but other than that, it's a breeze. There is plenty of shade and lovely scenery. Make sure to bring water and your dog bowl!!

This is a well worn and marked trail, though I did not make it to the falls as the direction to them was not clearly laid out. I chose the upper route twice as shown in both photos, but ended up at the picnic table lookout after about 90 mins. And turned around then as I had no clear idea what or how much trail lay ahead. Not a bad hike or place to go, just not what I expected. The trail is mostly medium, but well laid out with a few difficult, but short sections. Parking is on the roadside.

I had a blast on the trail. Did the upper trail first. Trail is well marked and easy to follow. I only found about 5 of the tunnels. 2 we're past the place you loop to the lower trail. Headed on to summit for a couple miles and was beautiful. Rained this morning and I am a klutz, so was slippery in a few places and turned around. Heading down toward lower trail was a little muddy but not bad at all. Overall a beautiful hike. Not panoramic view type of beautiful. Simple forested nature. Saw lots of parents with really small kids so must be kid friendly. Parking is easy. As you approach the guard shack, there is a dirt area on the left side of the road.
