Great place to get a tattoo. My wife daughter and myself just got tattooed here. Hawaii is awesome!!! You walk in and see that everything is super clean they take the time to cover everything. The men were very professional and offered their input when we had questions. I'd describe them as humble and extremely talented. Their line work is spot on. When I get back to Hawaii, West Coast will be one of my stops. I can't thank you enough! Keep up the great work! Congratulations on your sons graduation! Thanks!!!!

I’ve debated posting this review and ultimately decided I needed to share my experience.

My husband and I decided to get tattoos the day before our vacation ended (June 27th, 2024) to commemorate our 10 year vow renewal we had done during our trip.

We were a walk in shortly after they opened on the 27th and talked about what we wanted done. We each wanted the others first initial on our ring fingers. We were told that finger/foot tattoos were a more expensive spot. We were set on getting these done before we left, this was when we had the time and opportunity, and the shop seemed to be a good one so we paid 150 dollars each for the smaller finger tattoos (I did get 2 other tattoos, some lines on my ear, to match my other ear, which healed about the same as my finger unfortunately, and a tattoo on my arm which actually does look good and healed nicely. The artist is clearly capable and he did a nice job, as far as artistry, on all of the tattoos. They look (looked in the case of our fingers) good and clean. In the end, we paid 400 dollars in total. 150 of which was on my husband’s one finger and the rest on my 3 tattoos. We were both very happy with them when we left the shop and our special moment felt honored.

Fast forward to 10 or so days later and my tattoo has gone missing as if it never even happened. I messaged the tattoo shop and talked with the manager because what the heck!? I thought my husband’s was healing badly but mine was even worse.

I was basically told that we were given warning this could happen because of a bunch of different factors and my “expectations” are not guaranteed by the shop.

Our tattooer did tell us that fading happens quicker with finger tattoos, showed his fingers - which were FADED but still there - and we agreed this was fine. I have other finger tattoos, I know how they fade. I gotta say, to me, what happened to my tattoo is NOT fading and I told the manager as much. It is literally gone. He disagrees.

I’m not a tattooer but I personally feel as though the artist didn’t use enough pressure or something and so the ink didn’t go deep enough into the layers of my skin to not be totally pushed out. I do understand that ink loss is a part of the healing process.

I felt as though, at the very least, this should have been acknowledged as a screw up and I should be refunded so I could have it fixed (I live in Michigan). However, all I got was a round about way of saying it wasn’t their fault and they will give us a free touch up the next time we visit. My concerns with the tattoo were never acknowledged as being valid whatsoever.

The shop is standing behind the tattoos and service we received and, let us be honest, I’ll never get my free touch up as both the manager and myself know that not most people visit Hawaii frequently.

I'm going to put 5 stars because I haven't been there in 5 years and I'm sure they're a great place now but I hope they don't have the artist on board that did this to me. I was 19 and had crippling anxiety so I never said anything but im saying something now. The artist added the mandala in the middle freehand without asking me and it did not look good to me then and still doesn't today. The tips were also not sharp at all. He had a 4 letter Samoan or Hawaiian sounding name but I don't remember what it is exactly. If I can figure out his name I would like to tell others not to trust him if he asks if you like a certain type of tattoo (mandalas in my case) because he might freehand incorporate it over your stencil. We also had a consultation beforehand and agreed for a plain sunflower and I approved the stencil.

Hands down one of the greatest experiences I've had at a tattoo shop. Very knowledgeable of what they were doing. Gave them a general idea of what I wanted, and they gave me a list of options that would work great with my skin tone. Color came out great and all for a reasonable price. Did not disappoint, I highly recommend.
