Two years to get a pair of $600 custom fit jobmaster boots that don't fit any better than off the shelf sizes. They don't appear to be custom anything. Big expectations equal big disappointment after 2 years.

They've been sent back and reworked twice and the boots are and have always been uncomfortable to the point I struggle wearing them enough to even break them in. Blister so bad on top of one toe I couldn't even stand in the boots for 6 weeks.

Only after spending several hours with a heat gun and a jar of Obenaufs heavy duty LP am I able to wear them for longer than 10 minutes. Every other pair of boots I've been able to wear as long as I wanted and broke in in a few days with typical soreness.

I was sold that custom fit boots would be a perfect fit and the solution to other manufacturer boots that broke down and hurt my feet before a year had passed.

The one time I did wear these in rain, the boots egregiously let in water.

Every employee I've interacted with at West Coast Shoe Company has been professional and friendly. This review is for custom jobmaster boots and not the people at the company.

So far my experience has been fantastic with Wesco. I placed a custom boot order with them a few weeks ago and everyone I have dealt with has been very helpful. I was on the phone a few times with them and got sent the custom measuring kit. I placed my order online and sent the measurements back to them. The whole process was great. I emailed Chris a bunch of times and he responds quickly and answers all questions, cant ask for more than that. Now all I have to do is wait the 19 months for the boots.

I have been meaning to come down here for years and my only regret is not coming sooner. Chris was absolutely awesome to meet and deal with. I can’t wait to get to work and wear my new boots that fit like a glove.

I stopped by the local factory and showroom in Scappoose last week. I received a warm welcome by both Bruce (3rd generation) and Chris (Sales Manager). Both took valuable time out of their schedule to explain in detail the history of the company, the impressive handmade craftsmanship, intricate details and materials that go into each boot. If you want to support a local, passionate, friendly and knowledgeable staffed and managed company this is the place to get your next pair of both durable and fashionable boots!

My father has been a Wesco customer for 55 years. He recently moved in with me and his current pair (16 years old) needed replacing. Chris and Kim were both amazingly helpful and I was able to get my dad a new pair ordered with ease! Keep being amazing!

Amazing work... Bought custom boots from them last year and I wear them everyday without discomfort. They still look brand new despite how rough I am on them (I see my local bootblack once a quarter). And the best part is that they made sure to include my orthotics when they made the boots so there is NO breakdown of the boot materials due to the added stress the orthosis puts on them.

This firm at the very least is terrible at customer service; and has given me no indication that they ever plan on sending me the boots I paid for, despite happily accepting my prepayment. I ordered some boots that the company is now seven weeks overdue in delivering. Every time I call or email them, they simply tell me there will be additional, unexplained delays of indefinite duration. I paid $700, I waited over four months, and I have a chain of evasive email apologies and nothing else to show for my purchase. This company has apparently taken my money, and does not intend to ever give me what I paid for.

I bought a pair of wesco jobmasters and they were quite tight. I called wesco and asked if they could maybe stretch them for me. Chris told me to send them on in and he would stretch them. All I had to do was pay shipping. Just got them back today after only waiting a couple days past a week and wow what a difference. They fit perfectly now. Thank you wesco!!!
