Happened to be working in the area and decided to stop by to see what kind of snowboard, bindings and boots they had. Daniel right off the bat was super accommodating and helped me figure out the right sized boots. Based off of that, we were able to figure out the best snowboard for my needs. I took it out over the weekend and it rode like a dream!

Paul and Daniel were some of the nicest people I’ve met and their prices are pretty hard to beat. Their shop is loaded with tons of boards, skis and any other equipment you could need, it’s almost overwhelming. Paul’s speedy service to get the board waxed and ready to go the same day was highly appreciated.

Definitely worth making the drive out and at least check out what they have to offer.

Their google business listing advertises same day service, yet we walked in today to shop for new skis and the man who approached me said “Jesus Christ, how many people your age walk in without an appointment”. A simple “I’m so sorry, we’re appointment only” would have been appropriate and I would have understood. I have never written a poor google review before, but I’ve also never been treated that poorly while shopping before. We immediately left even when they offered for us to have a seat and wait to be seen because I felt so disrespected it wasn’t worth my time.

12 years of serving the people of Grayslake and skills that speak proof of that experience! I gave this man a rusty banged up board with holes in my wax, and I get returned a beautifully buttery surface with crisp sharpened edges! It is safe to assume that I will be a repeat customer for years to come!

WSS is an excellent source for new and used ski equipment. Owner/ operator is very knowledgeable and has outfitted our family for past 4-years Check out their site, get fitted, and hit the slopes!

WOW!! This place rocks. Let me start with the service because it was grade A. Both the owner and his son are extremely knowledgeable in the sport. They also provide an amazing customer experience with their knowledge and kindness. Now let’s talk about their selection of ski and snowboarding equipment. It’s wall to wall with layers upon layers of stuff. As you walk in the door you have to scoot to the side to even fit through the hallway because of their equipment stock. It’s like a snowboarders dream. Love it! I have been there already twice in 2 days. Well done boys. Thanks for taking care of my last minute issues and gearing up my family for our trip up north. You guys are the best
