Excellent experience! We rented kayaks at a very reasonable price. We were able to rent as walk-ins but probably only because it was off-season. I recommend calling the day before for reservations. Bree at the front desk was very accommodating and informative. Charles and Isaac helped us on and off the kayaks—which were in very good condition—and back to our car. The facilities were clean and looked new.
The day itself was a gorgeous spring day and the lake was big and beautiful. We even saw a mama duck with her ducklings on the shore. We've used two other kayak rentals in the past and this was definitely the best experience so far.

This is our second year renting a boat for our 8 friends and Young Harris Water Sports never disappoints! They are so professional and so nice/accommodating to any and all of our needs!! We will be renting from them every year that we come up to hiawassee!

My colleagues and I rented a tubing boat and had an amazing time. The location is very nice and the staff is super friendly. Charles got us set up and feeling comfortable as beginners on the boat, and Lake Chatuge is incredible from this point of view; much bigger than I thought! I highly recommend renting from here, and will certainly be back to do it again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful to get our reservations in place on line; upon arrival, our four kayaks were ready to go. We had no problems. and if kayaking Lake Chatuge again, we would use them again. Wish their shop had t-shirts that advertised their business and Lake Chatuge.

We really enjoyed our time on the lake. The rental was super easy and the people were wonderful. Kayaks were equipped and clean! Would definitely recommend.

We had the whole family that ranged in age from 2 - 70 and everyone had a blast. Both the slide and the tube were a hit. Keep in mind that the little ones don't weigh enough for the tube by themselves. The marina was very helpful. The only problem was that we left towels in the boat and the next day they said they didn't have them.
