Ordered a Yeti SB115 from these fellows at a great price. Shipping was fast and the pack job was stellar! So good in fact, they prevented damage from occurring due to poor handling by UPS. Outstanding customer service and experience, Thank you!

The people here are great! I came in a few weeks before the Grand Traverse to get a new backcountry ski set up before the race. Brandon talked me through what set up would be best for me and fitted my boots several times the week leading up to the race. I would not have survived without Cripple Creek Backcountry. Great customer service. Highly recommend.

Been going here for years for ski stuff, small bike stuff, and had good service.

Took my mtn bike in for a brake bleed. Assuming it was the bike shop manager, who could desperately learn some customer service or even people skills, came around the corner and aggressively said to the bike tech “I won’t touch that bike and NO one else will touch this bike in this shop on my watch!” Ok, cool, cool, thanks for that. The bike tech did his best to soften it and explain the options, which I was grateful for, which was to completely replace the brake system.
Took my bike to another shop, they bled the brakes, no problem, and now works like a charm.

My takeaway is if this shop gives you grief about anything or tries to sell you a new system, take it to another shop for another opinion first.

Whatever happened to bike shops keeping a cool, laidback vibe? Maybe he stepped on a Lego in the back room? Sad that one guy can damage a business and kill a repeat customer. Hakuna Matata.

Very knowledgeable staff and great selection. Brandon had great advice and put a rush on punching out my new boots so we could continue on our trip. Highly recommend.

Had a trip to Denali planned and needed a pair of ski boots that would be comfortable to wear for 20 days straight. Didn't know if it was possible, but Nick at Cripple Creek helped me try on every combination of boot and insole and heat mold them to my feet. He also helped me build an emergency kit for backcountry ski/boot repair. The boots worked great. The team at CCB knows what they're doing and it's well worth the money to get fitted by experts.

It’s easy to support local business when they are this awesome! I haven’t skinned before and didn’t know where to start. Paul was knowledgeable and patient as he educated me on my different gear options. Tyler was super friendly when he molded my boots. I was anxious to spend that much money on a new sport and never felt pressured to buy anything. I can tell the employees are super passionate and shopped online a bit and saw that it was a better value to buy a package from them than piece together items online. I highly recommend checking in with them if you’re thinking of buying.
