During our road trip from South Florida to Oklahoma City, we made a stop at the Spadra Creek Nature Trail. It was a delightful place to take a break and stretch our legs. The trail offered serene landscapes and a peaceful ambiance. It provided the perfect escape from the highway and allowed us to connect with nature. We highly recommend it as a rest stop for anyone seeking a tranquil and rejuvenating experience during their journey.

Nice trail for a short walk. There is also a longer trail around the town, but this is the best starting point where you are directly in the green.

Spadra Creek national trail is very picturesque and beautiful as you can see by the photos. Odd thing is, it's tucked away behind McDonald's. But it has very easy access off of interstate I-40. If you want to stop and stretch your legs I would definitely suggest it you won't regret it.

Something good came out of a flat tire on my trip back to Fayetteville from Heber springs, when tire pressure sensor hit 20 psi I pulled over behind a restaurant to air it up and found this wonderful place.

This trail was right across the street from our hotel. I wish it didn’t start behind the empty lot of an abandoned fast food restaurant though. The trail itself is paved, or you can go on the creek trail which is dirt. Beautiful views
