As beautiful if not better views than the Yosemite valley. I'm hearing most tourists hang out in the valley and skip this...dont !!! Wish I had more days to explore but these sunset shots give you an idea of the grandeur.

A beautiful meadow that's an easy flat hike from the small visitor center to Soda Spring. We didn't see many wildlife but then it was the hottest time of day.

We went at the end of July and the weather was very nice there. Perfect to walk around and take in the beauty around us.

Non ho trovato Tuolumne Meadows particolarmente entusiasmante. Forse dipende dal periodo, ho visitato il luogo a Ottobre ma oltre a un grande prato non offre granché. Magari chi si reca qui per fare un'escursione programmata lo troverà più interessante.

Definitely one of my favorites places in Yosemite National Park. Love the hike from here to Yosemite Valley. Specially getting to summit Clouds Rest and Half Dome along the way. Definitely get your back country permit and the permit for half dome(didn’t need it this before but now you do) Take the bus to the meadows with all your gear so when you get back to the valley your car is there and your journey is over.

Our favorite hidden gem at Yosemite. With so much to do in the valley it would be easy to skip this amazing place. If it wasn’t attached to Yosemite it could be it’s own national park. It’s so beautiful, peaceful and serene. Parson’s lodge - which is really a cabin next to beautiful Soda Springs where a deer was drinking out of the spring was so beautiful. This is the location where John Muir started the Sierra Club. What a breathtaking short hike not to be missed. The visitors center and grill are in the process of being rebuilt so no amenities aside from porta potty’s are currently available. Well worth the trip!

What a beautiful part of a beautiful park! The river is running strong, the meadows are lush and green. We did cheerful service in the meadow and then hiked to Soda Springs. Super cool.

I visited the Meadows on the one day of the year where the road is open only to bicycles. This is by far the most scenic way to enjoy the magnificent views. Bring mosquitoe repellant as it will be needed at this time of the year.
