We are here celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles and I took my son here not knowing what to expect. My son said it was one of the best experiences of his life. Zach and Tyler was so incredibly nice! We look forward to coming back while we are here.

Brought my skis here for tuning, and they really damaged my skis. They gouged my ski with the machine, and they didn't detune the tips and tails. DO NOT BRING YOUR SKIS HERE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR LEGS INTACT. I told them about it and they didn't care at all and told me to go somewhere else and had no means to rectify my issue. I thoroughly checked them before I delivered them, and none of this was there before. This is completely unacceptable

From the very first phone call, to us being late on arrival for rental drop off and everyone being so accommodating, to the drop off of rental gear at our hotel, then the need for extending time of rental due to illness and injuries, to the final pick up…. FANTASTIC, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, PROFESSIONAL…. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!! I’m not even sure if I am reviewing the right location (I hope I am ?‍♀️) because throughout this process I had to call a couple times for assistance and everyone was so helpful! So I guess it doesn’t matter which location I am actually reviewing because it seems to be company wide awesomeness!! Thank you Venture Sports for making a pretty tough trip so much easier!!! You guys are awesome!!!!!!

We went on a search for some nice rental mountain bikes, and encountered exactly the indifferent tourist town vibe that we expected... until we walked into this joint and were treated like family. Great crew, knowledgeable, very nice and perfectly tuned bikes, and such a great feel from this hidden little shop. Thank you guys for a really outstanding experience!

We spent Thanksgiving 2025 in Avon. I always try to rent from local shops because they typically give the best experience. Venture Sports was AMAZING!!! Everyone we dealt with was incredibly nice and accommodating. We were two large groups and the process and fitting went flawlessly. A couple of people needed some minor adjustments halfway thru our rental and they made them immediately without issue. Return was simple. Great crew there!

Bonus: My daughter misplaced her apple watch on our trip. Ended up in her ski boot. They not only reached out to me as soon as they found it, but also shipped it back to us. Will always remember that kind act and pay it forward!!!!

This was the best ski tuning place, I went there for years to get my ski tuned every 2 to 3 weeks. But it seems in the new year they hired new people who are completely incompetent. Already when droping the skis off the guy at the front was completely confused when I asked if a 87/0.9 tune is possible and he said "huh whats that?". I should have left then. But I left my skiis there to get them tuned. The next day on my skiis I almost instantly almost killed myself because they they sharped the tips and tails without any detuning. I had to go all the way to Christy Sports to buy a gummy stone to fix my skis while on the pist. The tuning guy there was also applaud by how bad of a job it was and said what the hell. I am so frustrated because this was my go to ski tuning shop ruined by incompetence and now I do have to find another tuning shop.

I called them, explaining the problem but they just said I should go to a different tuning shop if I don't like it.

They also gauged my tips and other spots on the base while machining it.

These guys really know what they’re doing!
A friend recommended we go to Venture Sports because we wanted to rent an e-bike for two days. John and Tyler could not have been more helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Their equipment is well-maintained and is high-performance. All the gear worked extremely well with no glitches because of their attention to detail before the bike left the shop. I highly recommend Venture Sports and will go back without hesitation for any sort of rental needs.

Couldn't ask for a better experience or better staff. Helped out my family and in-laws getting fitted and equipment rented. Came back to get a little guidance for my son on getting his boot in the binder and they spent a ton of time going over everything with him. They suggested switching out skis for me and it helped a ton. Great group of people!
