First, I am giving 2 stars because the shoes are great. I have problematic feet and so far these are what work best. If it weren't for the shoe's being great, it would be 1 star.

I've been here 3 times now. Every single time Paula has been very condescending, rude and impatient. Not only with myself but I hear how she has spoken to other customers as well. She complains she is the only person who works there and gets one and a half days off every single time I come in. She also complains about prior customers. She's very slow and won't allow anyone to find their own shoe's even if you spot the size you need. If I didn't need to try the shoes on, I would order online. I'm glad the store is there, but PLEASE hire someone else.

New manager Paula was rude!!! Tried to exchange some unworn and defective shoes for a bigger size, my dad bought in a bundle a long time ago. Since we live almost 40 mins. away! She refused saying she needed to call her boss to exchange the shoes and started being rude. My dad has been a loyal customer for 15 years plus. We explained to her someone here told us we could exchange it and the previous manager Dave would do it. The New Manager Paula said Dave has been gone for a year now and she doesn’t care what he said. After this experience I will convince my dad to buy shoes elsewhere. I have a photo of the exchange/return policy stating after 30 days with no receipt or merchandise they will do exchanges. Manager said she won’t do it since it said 30 days, clearly she doesn’t know the policy it states after 30 days on the sign. Anyways, keep your new manager in check she doesn’t know what good customer service is.

Update: 5 mins later. The new manager went and removed the sign I took a picture of. Apparently she’s only been her for 6 months. No wonder she doesn’t know anything. Oh btw there was a receipt since they looked it up on the system.

I have been to this store many times over the years and purchased great shoes that work for my feet. The main person in the store, probably the manager, was very condescending, rude and impatient, and not just to me, but customers she saw about to walk in the store. She won't allow anyone to find their own shoe's even if you spot the size you need or wear the shoes you are trying on around the store. If I didn't need to try the shoes on, I would order online. I almost just walked out, and that is saying something since I am patient and forgiving. I'm glad the store is there, but PLEASE PLEASE improve customer service.

First time buyer.
I did buy a pair of shoes which I had to exchange for different size next day. The sales person insisted I should buy my size according to her 1950's foot measuring device though my Dr.told me too go up 1/2 size to allow for swelling. The sales person also reiterated that the shoes were 100% leather and made in US. This is fine but many people do travel to Europe i.e. Italy and Spain from time to time and have purchased beautiful leather shoes and bags directly from the people making the item and in lovely stores. Take my word for it, the leather is just as fine as any in the world and can, with care, last a life time. While I found this SAS experience amusing, it's always best to not assume your customers are ignorant or unwilling to pay for a good product and to also treat them with respect. Though I will not return to this store, I do think the line of shoes are fine. I'd just buy online if possible and stay away from the stores.

I used to love this store for almost 20 years ...no more. Go anywhere else but here. Paula is nasty person (based on 3 encounters now) in a passive aggressive way. Awful awful customer service. If you're lucky enough to get Barbara, you're in good hands. I think Paula is the new owner, the other employees that were terrific have left like Mary and David. Used to be good service.

The number listed on my receipt was this location. The gal from the store was rude and spoke in a condescending manner. I didn't have the number listed for the centennial co location. It's rude to speak to your customers even if it's a follow up question that isn't for the particular store location. I have liked SAS shoes for years
I would expect better customer service.

Absolutely worst experience ever. Went in expecting to purchase at least 2 pairs for work.
Walk in store, looked like the coffee clutch was in, number of people sitting in chairs, the person working (?) Never acknowledged or said anything. Guess couldn't
bothered by a real customers. I tried on 2 pairs, probably would have purchased if been talked to. Just a very rude, can't be bothered experience.
